I had an IMate JAMA with the MS software on. The drag and drop facilities were perfect, real perfect, even if I have a music and can make it a ringtone. I can even drag and drop my Excel files etc. I decided to buy an IPhone 3G 16GB

What I found with converting my itune songs is if the folder isnt still in your itunes music folder they wont convert but if they are no problem converting. So convert them before you delete the folders or you gotta repurchase em. I found out the hard way lol =D

I converted my file to an mp3 (it was unprotected, so without using cd's or vcd's) but it still registers as an itunes mp3. Please help!

EDITOR'S NOTE: What is an "iTunes mp3" ???

I just followed the instructions above but did not burn to a CD. I just right clicked and converted to MP3 format in i Tunes Program player. I did not receive any convert error message or protected message on any of the songs I down loaded, and converted all of them to MP3 format. I transferred them to my daughters MP3 Player and they played just fine.

I tried doing this and it didn't work. I was able to change import to MP3 and then converted all the files, and when I went to copy them to CD it said it wasn't in MP3 format. Any suggestions???

EDITOR'S NOTE: You probably have two copies of each song, one in AAC and one in MP3 format.
