I've followed all the steps and my home profile page confirms I have a song added. But, no player shows and no song plays. I've asked a bunch of people but no solutions. Can ya help?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Do you have anything hidden on your page? Some of those "hiding hacks" end up hiding things you want to see.

Ok, profile: myspace.com/serpentine5
Issue: Followed the directions above, and have an MP3 uploaded to a server... (server needs log in info to access, but I am able to add the login info to the url of where the MP3 is). I add the following to my profile (in any area):

but after I hit save, it changes it to look like this:

So I am left with the idea that MySpace is killing everything added...? It does not show on my profile, and does not play. Any ideas?

EDITOR'S NOTE: First, I don't see anything being lost... the format that Myspace changes your code into still contains the same info, in a different way. Second, you're not really posting your login and password in a public place, are you?

Excellent. I am glad that I was writing the code right for this, that its just myspace screwing it up for firefox users. Go figure. It was driving me nuts constantly combing the code but it would never play on firefox. Sucks but at least now I can stop working on it lol.

I have embedded it fine, and it works well using IE.
although just to ask, is there another code that would make it visable and playable to firefox users? Or is myspace just annoying and it will never work for them.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Yes, Myspace is annoying.

Can you help me find out what is wrong with my wav file on myspace page? Thank you. Karen

http://www.www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/11/7609061/SomewhereOverTheRainbow.wav

EDITOR'S NOTE: The file does not exist at that URL, even when I removed the extra "www" from the address.

I have background music on my page and I want to add a simple wav file (for others to click on and hear) my problem is that both the background music and the clip play at the same time when the site is loaded, and it sounds funny. Is there a way to keep the clip from playing until the background music is finished? I'm not sure if there is a way in the code to do this.

EDITOR'S NOTE: If they are both clips added with the HTML-code-pasted-to-profile method (see above) then I think not. At least not until Myspace stops messing with the codes and starts honoring the AUTOPLAY parameter.

ok for some of you who are having troubles...go here:
http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/#documentation
and for more detailed info:
http://www.ic.sunysb.edu/stu/ahanley/music/help.htm

You install a couple of files onto another server...1)an mp3 or two or three. 2)the small flash program. 3)the playlist.
