if you upload an mp3, wav, or midi, etc. to a free host on the internet you can use the adress for the music file from the internet on your embed code. a good place for uplading about 4-10 songs depending on size is http://www.angelfire.com/
you will use the uploaded adress as you "src" and be careful not to use too much bandwidth. :)

Hi. Very informative site! My question is: Can you copy and paste the code for a music player like the ones you see on a band profile (with multiple songs) to an individual (personal) profile? Are there plans for Myspace to allow non-band profiles to have more than one music file available in their music players? Thanks for your help.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I tried and it just gives the dreaded double-dot. I don't have any inside info on this, sorry.

I have been trying my best but can't figure this out. How can I insert hidden comments within the code on my space like a comment within an html doc

What happens when you try: <!-- hidden text -->

Is there a way to add a sound clip to a comment you are leaving for someone?

EDITOR'S NOTE: It should work the same as adding music to the profile section.

hi , i am not a "myspace" blogger but i have a blog on another Blog site , and was wondering if you have an idea how to post a single music to an article that can be clickable but the reader , don't want to make it start as they check my page...
thank you.

EDITOR'S NOTE: You should be able to use the same instructions as above, to paste the EMBED code into your page.

Hi Bob, I've created a blog on myspace a few months ago and wanted to add a mp3 sound on a blog posting (I would rather no to put a link). I want to use the EMBED function. I've tried every html codes possible for that since yesterday (the one you're giving but the ones generated by http://boomp3.com and PimMP3.com). Of course I check the View source is ticked. Every time the same thing happens; which means nothing, it does not work at all. I just have the links for boomp3.com and PimpMP3.com that are remaining. I don't know how you have done to insert a sound in your blog posting...

EDITOR'S NOTE: Myspace is messing with the codes, See http://askbobrankin.com/myspace_music_problems.html

How can I get multiple clips to play out of ONE player?

EDITOR'S NOTE: You need a Band Profile for that.
