Myspace Music Problems - Comments Page 9

So...Bobbo.. Check it... Said issue concerning the myspace music player only showing as a blank white box.. is still an issue.. What I've done: Uninstalled Flash, Shockwave, Quicktime, Java Runtime Environment, and Firefox itself. Uninstalled Flash and Shockwave for IE.
Reinstalled ALL of it for both browsers. Set the Java Controls to allow Applet (Object) for the mozilla family.
Set all the controls in Firefox itself to enable java etc.

Annnnnnnnnnndd.. yet... nothing. It's still a white box.
I don't have any spyware protection or anything to that nature to hinder the loading of the player.. and EVERY OTHER flash object on the internet will work.... But not myspace... not the great and marvelous myspace with their flawless coding and insurmountability. ANY ideas? I'm spent.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sorry, all that seems to point to Myspace as the culprit.

I am the same boat as Grant. I don't know what it could be anymore... I've tried everything I could think of and then scoured the internet for help. I can see and hear it on any other computers, but not on mine, so I really can't see it being a myspace problem. It has also worked before and I can't figure out what happened. I am dreading a reformat AND don't even know if it would fix the problem!! Please help!

Hey Bob, thanks for this site. I seem to be having the same problem as Suffix (posted March 19th), however, my FIRST and ONLY track on my MySpace Music page is playing in slow motion, and of course I don't want to move ahead with finishing the page until this is taken care of... Have you found a solution to this or is it just that cursed overlaoded server? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for this site!!!

EDITOR'S NOTE: If re-uploading the file doesn't fix it, I'd say it's a Myspace server problem.

Hi, Bob. None of the songs on MySpace won't play when I click on them. On my profile page, the song goes "Error Downloading Music." I've tried surfing on some Internet shops here in the Philippines and some of them worked; whilst most still wouldn't. Is there any specific Flash player version I need download (like an older one like version 9,0,16,0 - and can you please give me a link where I can download it)? Help! I simply cannot live without listening to music especially here in MySpace. I would like to know if this is an error in their part that will be fixed eventually; or is there something I can do in my end to have it fixed. It's been over a month now and again half of my day consists of listening to bands here in MySpace.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I would take note of the setups that DO work, and try to install the same versions of Flash and Quicktime. OldVersion.com may help you find them.

My uploaded songs sounds in Slow Motion. I`d been trying for weeks but is always the same thing .I recorder this songs in a home studio and they weight 4,52 MB aprox . Please help! -- Natalia from Chile

Im making a "music profile" for an artist. It seems very limited in what I can edit! There is no "regular" edit profile like there usually is on a regular myspace profile AND on a "myspace movie" profile (I know I have made both types for people). Please let me know if there is a TRICK to edit "about me" or that regular type of category. Thanks!

EDITOR'S NOTE: In a band profile, there's an Edit Profile link, but yes it's different. You can click Band Details tab and update many items there.

Can not do uploading music suddenly.They says "Your upload privileges have been suspended",but all copyrights are mine. any suggestion?
