Add Hard Drive Song to Myspace - Comments Page 4

Okay. I followed your directions on how to add a song from hard disk to myspace, and it's not working. I've double checked my URL and such. Could you please deliver a suggestion? The song works fine on the geocities site I have it hosted on - just not on my myspace profile. It gives me a white box with a red X in the top left corner. Your suggestions/comments are greatly appreciated.

Regarding BOOMP3, I'm sorry if this question is silly, but I really would like to know if this is absolutely legal before I use it.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The BooMP3 site says it is designed to help musicians share their music with others, and for non-musicians to share content, for which they have complete ownership (or public domain content). So uploading commercial (copyrighted) music would not be acceptable.

I use mozilla firefox, have the latest version of quicktime and still everytime i try to upload any of my mp3 tracks it always says "invalid username". What to do?

When i mentioned the part regarding upload, i was referring to the Geocities website.

Just make a fake MySpace Account for the song you want. Worst thing they will do is cancel the account. Scary stuff. Beats dealing with browser incompatibility and MySpace's slow development cycle.

Using the upload tool in Geocities....under Create & Update....Easy Upload...

I am using Geocities, upload file from Create & Update, Easy upload. I constantly try to upload it and i even try to change the name of the file of any attempted upload of a mp3, but still it persistently says "invalid username"....What to do my main man Bob?

EDITOR'S NOTE: If you're already logged in to Geo, that doesn't seem to make sense. Are there any odd characters in the filename?

I used Ripway to upload my song and edited my profile using IE but it didn't work. The player showed but the song didn't play. When I go back to the same section myspace attached a lot of other codes to it. HELP!

EDITOR'S NOTE: Your player appears on IE but not Firefox, a known Myspace problem. But the URL for the MP3 file is incorrect.

Has anyone figured out how to get the loop="true" function working.
