i need my myspace password i have forgotten it

EDITOR'S NOTE: I forgot it too... thought I had your password written on a scrap of paper, but I'll be danged if I can find it here...

I also got the same message as Jason which said my account had been phished...Now I also can't get back into my myspace. I've sent a message to customer service, hopefully they'll send my new password soon.

I have followed your directions and submitted the salutes like you asked. There's a tiny problem though. I forgot to write "Myspace.com" on the sheet of paper :x, does that matter?

So what happens when you do know you're password and still can't login? I have had the password sent to my email anyway and it the password that I use, but I still can't login. Just tells me to open an account when I attempt to login and I am able to see my profile so it has not been deleted. I've written for help, but they aren't much help. Anything left to do?

EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't suppose you've got CAPSLOCK on? It's also possible you're trying to login to a spoofed site. Make sure you manually enter the URL in your browser.

i still dont get what SALUTE means?? and how do i get it? "A salute is a photo of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word "MySpace.com" and your FriendID on it."

Hello Rob. I forgot my Myspace password and have followed the instructions above. The system will tell me my password has been sent to my e-mail account and when I check my e-mail it's not there. It's not my e-mail account, because I have been able to recieve e-mails from everyone except myspace. For the past four days I have been resubmitting my e-mail info to Myspace, and the system has stated that my password has been sent to my account. However that has not been the case. Please help. Thank you

EDITOR'S NOTE: Perhaps someone has changed your profile's email address? Does Myspace say WHERE it is sending the password?

My email is the same on myspace, I know this because I did a "find a friend" search and all of my info came up on the screen. So I know i am listed under the correct email address. I also have a friend that is exspirenceing the same problem. However, I discovered that both of us log in using "www.forexample@yahoo.com" as opposed to "forexample@yahoo.com". So I believe that the "www." is working agaist us. Because when I drop the "www" it states that my email account does not exist.
For example if you do a "find a friend" search using my email. You wont find my page unless you put the "www." in front of my actual email address.
Do you know anyway I can contact myspace and straight this glitch out? I've already emailed twice. Thank You.

EDITOR'S NOTE: That's the problem. If your email address is XYZ@YAHOO.COM, and you told Myspace that it's WWW.XYZ@YAHOO.COM, then the password reminders will go there. They are two completely different email addresses. If possible, sign up for the "WWW" variant of your email address on Yahoo, and try the Myspace password reminder again.

okay so what happened was. this is my forth myspace due to being hacked twice by someone :@
so it started posting all these bulletins so i changed my password, i logged out, and now it won't let me log back in. i tried every password possible. its saying too many failed attempts. i tried sending it to my email. it just doesnt send, yet im getting all these emails saying "new comments". im on the edge of sanity, i have also tried emailing the customer people, and the salute. i really dont want to make a fifth account. is there ANYTHING else?

How long does it take to get a reply to your salute?
