EDITOR'S NOTE: Rub your belly while patting your head. Keep doing that while chanting "I will read the article before posting meaningless comments... I will read the article before posting meaningless comments..." If that doesn't magically make your password appear on the screen, well... read the article.

I did exactly what the article said, how long will it take for them to send me the password. I need it tonight.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sorry, I doubt they will act that fast. I'd give it a week or so...

I read on this page that they replied to this guy in 36 hours, It's pass 36 hours how come they never replied to me with my password. I did everything correct.

EDITOR'S NOTE: With over 100 million members, I'd guess that tens of thousands of people are in the "lost password" group every week. My only suggestion is to be patient, and resend your salute every few days if you get no reply.

Ok I did exactly what this article said, than I received a reply from myspace telling me to do exactly what I did before. Than they wrote send a reply to the message with my salute as an attachment file and the URL's. So I did that too, but got an bounce email sent to me from qmail-send and it said that my message I sent did not get through. What should I do now?

EDITOR'S NOTE: What address did you send the attachment to?

Thanks, it hasn't worked yet, but I hope to God it will. I miss myspace so much.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Open another account. Most people have 2 or 3, right?

I got the message back from myspace from mscontact1@myspace.com, and that's also who I sent the email back to because they asked me to do so with my salute photo as an attachment. That's when qmail-send interupted. I also sent the same message I replied to them with to Customercare@ myspace.com about 2 days ago.

I don't think myspace personally read the messages they get, and that they allow the computers to read and reply because if they personally read they'll see I did everything I needed to do. I'm giving them until next Monday, if I don't get my password I'm gonna be upset and create a new page and make complaints. I'm confused, do you think I'll ever get my password?

EDITOR'S NOTE: I think they have a HUGE backlog. Persistence may be the key...

Hello Bob, My problem is slightly different from the others. I used the password request feature after I was unable to log into Myspace, Received the e-mail with the password (which was the same as I had originally). But then I am unable to successfully pass the CAPTCHA verification that resulted from to too many "failed login attempts," (with me using the correct password I might add). Any ideas as to what settings or methods I could use to effectively pass the security check?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Are you sure the password was entered in the correct UPPER/lowercase characters? The CAPS LOCK key might be tripping you up.
