Hm... Those people have 1000s of channels. Yeah they may be available for free... Here's the thing: Many of these channels change their websites and such. Can you keep up with 3000s of channels everyday? I think that $40 is a good price for getting all these channels indexed in one software.

EDITOR'S NOTE: So you think that a static piece of software will be able to keep up with the changes better than the search engines? If so, by all means, buy it!

I've seen a couple the last few years and they were utterly disappointing. Most of the channels didnt work and the quality was terrible of those that did. No premium channels what so ever either. Thank you and enjoy your Snickers bar!

Bob Thanks for sharing this information. I was fooled by the hype of screwing my cable company. Now reading your information. I will keep my $40 and do my own search. I also had a copy of warez of free TV and it was crap.

The reason why you see so many different and misleading ads about this "Satellite TV on your PC" is because the company is recruiting people to sell it on their personal websites and any other way they can. At the top of satellitesoft.com, they try to get you to purchase the bogus software and if that does not work, they try to get you to sell it. That is why it's so hard to find the truth about this scam, because many people are flooding the internet with ads to sell it. In all reality, it only took me about 30 minutes to find all of this out.

Hello. Could anyone give me some help with information on how to contact and get a refund from Satellite TV for PC. Yes i paid the 50 they changed, and it was a failure. Not at all what they advertise in the many different affiliate sites. Terrible. I've looked for contact information or anyone to contact to get this refunded, and there is no info anywhere. I even tried reaching out to the person listed as owner of the domain on Who's Who, and nothing. Plse Help! THANK YOU

EDITOR'S NOTE: Contact your bank and request a chargeback.

If you want to have access to satelite TV for free on your PC, there is a way to do that. You will need to install a FTA PCI card on your PC for example the "Digiware 103G". The you will need a Satelite antena with an LBN. That will give you access to all channels on the satelites you receive on the antena.

Do some research on FTA... there are even "Fixed Firmware files that can be loaded to an FTA receiver and decodify scrambled channels such as HBO, etc. This will be cheaper that cable TV but require some investment... nothing is free in this world, and if they say it is free... be carefull... you will pay one way or another.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I chatted further with MGMS and what he describes is a way to connect a satellite antenna to your computer, via a special interface card. There are some free unscrambled over-the-air satellite channels you can pick up doing this. But in order to receive the scrambled/encrypted channels (that you'd normally have to pay for), you'll need to find and download "key files" that enable your satellite receiver to decode them.

Of course this is not legal. But as MGMS says "if you are in the middle of the Sonora Desert I do not think you will have any problems with the FCC." Not in the desert? MGMS says "as long as you don't invite someone from Direct TV to your home to watch a movie, you are safe."

So proceed at your own risk, and don't ask me for help on this topic. My technology gut tells me that if the satellite providers were sufficiently motivated, they could somehow detect this activity.
