Thanks for the article really helped me, but I also wanted to ask you that even if these online Tv channels are free is there a chance of getting a virus from them?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Not from viewing the actual shows... but it's possible that if you visit certain fringe sites without proper anti-virus protection, you could get a virus.

Thank you Bob! Nice info, saved me a lot of hrs of research...so I owe you a percentage of my life really! :)
From past experiences I've learnt that in general if any site takes you straight to the pay site without any info or customer service contact detail then think twice about what you're buying, it's most likely a scam or a junk product!

These are all scams. For me the most sought after type of programming is NFL Football similar to the DirectTV package. There is nothing out there and I cannot watch my home state NFL football team.

There is a website named channelchooser.com that does the same thing as these scam programs for free. Hulu.com is also a very good organizer of free online videos. It is free as well.

Netflix is getting into the on demand video content. It will be interesting to see how that works.

its about time someone showed the real scams and if anyone wants to see what Bob is telling you try out this site its free and around the world has lots of just what he tells you the site is www.wwitv.com there are ton's of free stations on there don't cost a cent but a lot is recorded stuff and has live feeds belive me these day's your better off saveing that $40.00 you really don't need to spend

I bought this software for 30 bucks at a computer show...it was called pc2000 then. It sucked!!!!! It gave me a list to free sites that I already knew about, and one that I didn't that attempted to load a trojan on to my pc...stay away from this, it is total crap!!!!!!!!
