I made the mistake of purchasing "Digital TV 4 PC" only to find it was another piece of crap being pawned off to suckers, most of the channels didn't work and the ones that did I probably could have found on my own. The thing that irritates me the most is I found the link for this program on a sight that I trusted. One good thing did come out of all this and that is I was able to get a full refund by writing only one letter to the people who sell the software.

As an alternative to the "DIY" search, there are also free programs allowing to choose among hundreds, if not thousands as they often say, of TV and radio channels from different countries.
I use Readon TV Movie Radio Player (www.readontech.com/aboutinternettv.html), it works fine and it's totally free.

TV SCAM? I was so suspicious about this "easy" oppotunity that in order to find out the truth I bougt the "Miro TV for PC" offer in which they say the package include hundreds of free channels. After paying they toy me that there is no refund. THE PACKAGE WAS NOT MORE THAN THE FREE CHANNELS ANYONE COULD GET FOR FREE. THEY HAVE AN OBSOLETE SEARCHING PROGRAM THAT GETS NOTHING.

I moved into a new apartment, but I hated having to set up cable to my TV so I tried one of these easytv things. I only watch a small handful of cable shows anyway and they said they had them. When I did finally get it to work it really taxed my system and lagged. It was worse than dealing with the cable company. I got a refund the next day and went with the lesser of two evils.

Guys,
Don't be so hard on this man. I want to think him for telling us the truth. He saved me some money and a whole lot of trouble, because I was about to purchase the sate tv to pc thing. I would have wasted my time if I didn't find this site. However, I understand about him advertising the product as well. He has to make a living, but what he is doing is giving the pros and cons of the product being advertised. I think this is what you call honesty. Most people act like a used car salesman to trick you. He, however, is acting like CARMAX and giving us the car facts sort of speak. So, have compassion and appreciate the fact that he gave the truth and the option of not chosing what is being advertised. Well done sir!!! :)

Thanks for the warning. If others dont believe, I do. Although these softwares ofcourse may be sold for maybe $5.00 just for the efforts of getting the list of free broadcasting TVs online and writing a programme. I mean a software with GUI for the end users but not to the extent of selling them for as high as $40.00
