Isn't it software you use to watch tv on the internet ? You must pay to download it so it isnt free. Cant you get the amount of channels (premium and local) they claim ? What about CNN, ABC, FOX, MTV, Eurosport, Cartoons (they say about 60 known channels). I didnt buy it but do you still have to pay after the initial payment to see something ? They dont claim that it is the same as satellite tv with a dish ? One thing though : Al Jazeera is from Qatar and not from Iran like they mention so you would say that they should know that.

I tried the web tv as suggested by Sandra for http://www.tvonline.2ya.com but it was just all radio stations, no tv at all that I could find. How can it have a URL as tvonline with just radio links? Seems like anything goes on the Internet now. Any real info would be much appreciated.

hey guys its may be true that the satellitetopc is a scam. However this technology is called iptv and its very real.. china has has it for the last 2 years.. it will only be a matter of time before the cable and satellite companies will have some real competition.. internet tv also know as iptv will change the way we watch tv!! you will now have the option to see tv online, just like the voip(voice over internet protocol) took the phone industry and you can now make international calls for dirt cheap. the only thing holding back this technology from coming into the market is the u.s. government and i am sure the big cable and satelitte companies are trying to prevent at least until they can find a way to integrate with iptv.

EDITOR'S NOTE: IPTV is not limited to China. Verizon offers video-on-demand IPTV service on their FIOS service.

Yes you can get free satalite on your PC, Its true because I have had this program before. It is a scam tho because you can easly get free programs 100% Free with more channels and 100% Legal, exept when you buy that its Better Quality. It isnt really a scam its a rip off

EDITOR'S NOTE: That's comforting to know... I *so* much enjoy a good ripoff, rather than a nasty scam.

Good satellite TV software for PC does exist. Unfortunately some unreliable software also are on the market. One can check a good one at http://XXXXXX-on-pc.blogspot.com/ [link obfuscated]

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sigh... another thinly veiled affiliate link, for bogus, ripoff scamware. You really should be ashamed, Mr. (ummm) Smith.

I clicked on one of the ads you've got running at the top of the page and paid for that service as I thought it would be ok if it's on your page. But it's useless, aren't you contradicting yourself saying it's rubbish on here then letting them advertise on here??!

EDITOR'S NOTE: As I've mentioned before, the Google ads are not under my control, and are *supposed* to be relevant to the content of the page. In an ironic way, even those scam ads are. My hope is that people will actually *READ* the article and understand why they should NOT believe the hype.

You don't need to buy anything. There are several websites that provide links to channels for free. A couple I use are www.trulytv.net and www.tvonpc.co.nz . Lots to choose from.
