I have been using a Firefox plugin called Download helper.
Download helper worked fine up to 2 days ago when I upgraded to 3.5
They one problem I had was that if there was an illegal charector in the you tube title it did not work.

Then I would go to savetube.com.

Another way to get YouTube files that we have been using for some time: After you view the file, then using 'explorer' (the program manager) sort the files in temporary internet cache, pick out the "get_video" files (no extension) and move them to a directory of your choice.
Rename the file to whatever, and add the extension of ".flv" and you're home free, and for no special program cost either. All you need is a free FLV player.
Just how quick you have to do this, depends on how often your temporary internet file get deleted.

Has anyone used Real player SP? I downloaded it and it worked very well for all Videos not only You Tube but after a few weeks I can't download any videos. I reinstalled and still nothing and yes I checked all the boxes. The tag that comes up when I put the cursor on the video is not there to download. What am I doing wrong?
