I wish i could find out if there is a way to put a .gif file as my background image instead of a .jpg

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sure you can. It works exactly the same way. You can even convert a GIF to a JPG with most image editing software.

Another great place to go is; http://www.poqbum.com/ They have backgrounds and a ton of other little things you can do to customize your Myspace page just by copying and pasting the HTML code.

How do you go back to the original size of the my-space layout? When I copy pictures into the edit part of myspace,the pictures come out side by side and stretch the screen. I would rather the pictures show up verticle instead of horizontal

How do i change the color of the font in the intrest section? When i use a pre-made profile edit, everything changes according to the code except the font color in the intrest section. It always remains black.

I customized my whole layout on profile editor on myspace. and couldnt figure out how to customize the "general or intrests" sction i tryed everything I dont want to start all the way over please HELP!!!!! ~concerned~

I still cant figure out how to make my layout viewable when it's set to private. I have my own layout and I dont want to create one on profile editor. How do I get my layout to show up?

I am trying to edit my profile but i dont have an about me section! the edit profile section only allows me to change my band details. Any advice would be Great.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sounds like you have a Band profile. They are very different than a regular profile.

Hi. I found a Christmas layout that I really like and I was messing around with the HTML code because the text in the General, Music, Movies, etc doesn't show up...it is a black background with black text I think. Anyway...now I am just curious. How do I make small modifications like that to an HTML code?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Look for the color code - it will say "black" or "000000" - and change it to something else.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Select the "Don't repeat" option in the Myspace Profile Editor, or edit the image with IrfanView (or your favorite image editor) and resize it.

oh, & also. how do i make it so that the background doesn't stay still? i want it to move while scrolling.

Hello, question how do you put a layout up on myspace when your page is private. In other words if someone comes to my page and is not my friend how do I make my private page more enjoyable to look at besides just bieng plain and white?

EDITOR'S NOTE: I'm pretty sure that background images on your profile will still display for non-friends, if the profile is private.

Many private pages have a layout on that page that says it's private. I haven't figured out how to make my background show on that page.

Ok, so after some looking into things and seeing some people with a bkgd showing on private and others that just cant get it to work...

I'm guessing if you have 'certain codes' within your html/css layout [dont know which codes are causing this]... that your bkgd will NOT show if you have the page private and are viewing as a non friend!

I'm a SAHM to a 1 yr old, I don't have the time to play cause and effect with the coding now a days...

If anyone is bored or determined enough to figure this out - post it!
