how do i get the music player like the one you have in your myspace profile? also, can i get the player to be hidden? it works on firefox and ie. the source code you have seems not to work.

EDITOR'S NOTE: As I said, the players only work in IE, not Firefox. Don't hide your music playuer, that's rude and will make people want to leave your page. It can be unhidden so easily anyway.

Hey, I want to find out what this song is, but the music player is hidden. So, can you tell me what the song is?

EDITOR'S NOTE: So just UNHIDE it! In Firefox, select View, Page Style, No Style.

I want to add a song to my myspace group page.

Can you tell me how to do that?

EDITOR'S NOTE: It should work the same as adding it to a profile.

Hi Bob! How can I add music comment to someones photo?

Example: my friend has a great new photo & I would love to add one song as a comment.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I think it should work the same as the cut and paste method shown in the article above...

Used this method, and have before. However there seem to be issues with the code working on firefox (it does work with IE). are there any particular settings that need to be changed so that this might work with firefox?

EDITOR'S NOTE: The FF problem was discussed earlier in the comments. No solution yet to my knowledge.

im confused as how to get a music url into the mp3 player that i can attach to my myspace page. does anyone know any sites where i can get a url for the music?

EDITOR'S NOTE: You can search for the song you want online, or upload your own MP3 file. Instructions for doing that are found at http://www.askbobrankin.com/add_hard_drive_song_to_myspace.html

how can I get my sound clip on Myspace to not start automatically and interfere with my myspace song?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Yippee! I tried an experiment and got the AUTOSTART to work. You can add this line to your OBJECT code and it seems to work. Insert it where the other lines are: OR

Hello, thanks a lot for your work! I`m working on it right now; what I actually wanted to do is insert a song that would auto-play into a MySpace Mail message. I didn`t really want to insert MP3, as I don`t know what type of connection does that person have; I was looking for a way to autoplay a MIDI file and I found minorcrisis.net, but of course their code is embed and it won`t work. >_Hello, thanks a lot for your work! Thank you for the help. Do you know of any way to make the mp3 clip loop continuously?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Try adding the LOOP parameter similar to how AUTOSTART was added in a PARAM statement.

Where exactly doe the "" go in the code? I can't seem to get the mp3 to auto start.

EDITOR'S NOTE: When you enter your EMBED code (see article above), Myspace transmorphagatizes it into an OBJECT blob with the PARAM statements. The autostart goes right in with the other PARAMs.

I've always used r4rw.com to create my myspace custom friends lists and they had the option of having more than one list. But now that the site doesn't work, I'm forced to use a new one. the only problem is, none of them have that option!! Do you know what the html code would be for this?
