Cancel Myspace Account - Comments Page 1

What I don't understand is that I canceled my myspace account, but my name still appears on the myspace search. I emailed them several times about having it removed, but I didn't receive a reply. Could I please get some advice on this? I'm really frustrated about this situation.

EDITOR'S NOTE: It seems to take a few weeks for the profile to actually get removed from Myspace after you cancel an account. I recommend that people remove all content from the profile before cancelling the account.

I CANCELED MY ACCOUNT THROUGH MYSPACE. MY PAGE STILL EXISTS, BUT I CANNOT LOG ON. WHAT CAN I DO. I DO NOT WANT MY PROFILE TO EXIST.

I deleted an old account on myspace MONTHS ago and it still comes up on Search, although I can't log in anymore.

So on top of this I sent myspace a salute about a week ago to verify that I wanted it gone, yet they still haven't deleted it. What should I do?

my musicians account was unexpectedly cancelled on myspace!! i changed my password when they warned me someone must've phished it. and this morning it's all gone!! i really rely on myspace for promo and have no idea what to do, who to contact, etc. do you know if the page can be restored after they fix the problem? or do i need to start from scratch!? had ove 20,000 friends/fans!

i wanna cancel my myspace, but i've forgot my yahoo password that belongs to my myspace account. in fact, myspace sent some instruction to my yahoo account when i canceled it. so if i cant login to my yahoo account. i cant delete my myspace.

EDITOR'S NOTE: You don't need to get into your email to cancel your Myspace account -- unless you've forgotten your Myspace password. In that case, you should send a password retrieval request to Myspace. Your password will be sent to the email address on file. If you can't login to THAT, send a password retrieval request to your email provider.

I've been trying to cancel my daughters account for a week. After following the prompts, I get a notice saying a confirmation email will be sent, but it is never sent. We are bieng held hostage.

Myspace said it would take 48 hours, it has not been 5 days, I have emailed them and they have done nothing. I asked on the boards and was banned.

i keep on trying to cancel my myspace account but then it tells me that it is sending an e-mail to my account but i've tryed many times on 3 different accounts and doesnt want to send me the confirmation to cancel my account.

i want to delete my myspace account but the email that i used isnt real...and i tried to make the email but they wouldnt let me use that email....i dont know how to delete my account...because i want to make a new one and iam gonnah use my real email so i can delete my account fast instead of going through this... iam so frustrated... i need to go on the fake email to confirm the cancling oh wat can i do???

EDITOR'S NOTE: I would remove all content from the old profile and put a big notice that it's defunct, and give the link to your new profile.

As far as I can see there is no 'Account Settings' button near my profile picture...

Any ideas?

hello!! i cancel my page 3 days ago i cant log in anymore but i can still see it on my friends profile and i want to create a new one but it says that the imformation im given them is not valid what can i do to open a new one?

same problem. i deleted my myspace account five days ago. i cannot log in anymore, but my profile is still showing up. what can i do to get it removed permanently? it's so frustrating!
