Hmmmm....I did the custom friend generator and it works perfectly in firefox, however, my old friends' list is still showing up below the custom list on explorer. I would just like to hide the friends' list but not the comments. Every code I have tried has done me no good. Any suggestions? Thanks.... |

She used mozilla firefox to view your profile. Then she went to view on the tool bar, then she went down to "page style" and clicked "no style" and seen your hidden friends and comments. EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't know who "she" is supposed to be, but... That's exactly what's supposed to happen, just as I mentioned above. Are you surprised? |

Hey do I hide my comments and friends on myspace from people using the "no style" setting on mozilla firefox? EDITOR'S NOTE: You can't. Unless you make it a private profile, or delete your friends. |

Please Bob. I ask u nicely, is there a code which hides comments from view sources hack. I'll try to limit 2 paragraphs because I'm in desperate help. This code is so rare and I'm getting no answers from any person on the world-wide internet. Therefore I've been searching this code for more than half a year and no satisfied results, hoping someone that can actually save me. I think you're the one who has all variety knowledge in myspace codes therefore u can save me from this horrid misery. I will beg on my knees! But you cant see me begging, u know i am begging from my expression in this post. Bob. I greatly appreciated with my pride and honor if u can save me from this state. If I have to give u a thousand dollars to solve this problem for me, I would. It's that important to me but telling u the whole story may take forever. EDITOR'S NOTE: It's more than rare... it does not exist. It cannot be done. If you use ANY of the CSS-based "hiding" tricks mentioned here, it can be EASILY defeated, as described in this article. Myspace is NOT infinitely customizable, and is flawed in many ways. Don't use it for anything but PUBLIC comments. |

I have actually seen a code which hides the top friends and comments from Firefox. I've seen it on more than one person's MySpace, but the only example that has kept the code up is this one: myspace.com/jackyrackyroo His profile is private, but he adds everyone. Don't say the code doesn't exist when it clearly does. EDITOR'S NOTE: What I said was this: There is no code which hides comments from the "view source" trick. And that's true. This person used a slightly different hiding trick. By placing a <NOEMBED> tag at the end of his "About Me" section, it causes everything after it (friends list, comments, etc.) to disappear from view. But ALL THE TEXT IS STILL THERE if you view the page source. You can verify this by saving the HTML source to a file, removing the NOEMBED tag, and displaying it in your favorite browser. All is revealed! |

One way to get to comments and friend lists that have been hidden is changing the section of the URL that says viewprofile to viewfriends or viewcomments. I contacted Myspace about making a feature that will actually allow you to make friends lists and comments private, but so far they don't seem to give a crap what anyone thinks. |

The easiest way to see someone's hidden friends is to view someone else's friends, and change the friend id number to the desired person's friend id. |

hi there. im sure you know of the mozilla firefox trick to get past all the hidden stuff on someones myspace. well i came across a myspace that even that wouldn't work, he still had his friends and such hidden. he told me to put this "" in the who id like to meet section. it actually didn't work for me, but have you heard about this trick??? and if you want the link to his myspace, please ask, so you can see it for yourself. EDITOR'S NOTE: See earlier comments for more on this. The code is <NOEMBED> (no space in the middle). |

I have someone on myspace that won leave me alone. Can I hide my page to make it look like I have closed it to people who are not on my friends list. Myspace wont help me. EDITOR'S NOTE: Have you made your page private? That should prevent non-friends from posting on your page. |
