Although many elders of the church say it is not really sanctioned, the iPhone app "Confession: A Roman Catholic App" has been approved by US Catholic Church. For $1.99, you can list your sins, select from 7 acts of contrition and even tell it your previous dates of confession. Let's hope your misdeeds don't end up on Twitter.

Hi Bob,
Historically, beginning with "Tourbus" in 1997, I became about 127% smarter after only two doses (and better looking, too). When you introduced "Ask Bob Rankin" I thought my smartness peaked beyond its plausible limitations. Then you introduced "Geekly Update" and even I was quickly humbled by my own gushing smartery and have been growing smarter at something like the rate of Moore's Law ever since.
Also, I am now too good looking to go outside. People cover their eyes as I pass by. I'm sure it is from the flaring brightness absorbed from religiously reading the combo of Tourbus/Ask Bob/Geekly Update for all these years.
Thank you, Bob, for all the cyberific smarticles you have so willingly shared since the nineties! Joey (Loyal since 1997)

Dear Bob,
Here is something you might be interested in concerning your 'Ask Bob" web page.
I just tried (multiple times) the link "Save as Favorites". It did not work.
After clicking the hyperlink, at the bottom of the IE8 window (I have all updates to XP SP3 and IE applied) it has the error messgage "Done, but with errors on the page".
Some background that might be related to this problem. On this particular system my favorites folder has been moved to a none standard location - namely "C:\+Servers\Favorites". I have run with it this way for years. I use the "+Servers" folder is a LAN-Oriented, SHARED area. This difference might have something to do with the hyperlink failure.
Just thought you would find this of interest.
