I use the Photo Editing Software "Picassa" from Google. I have about 200 Family Photos stored there. I love it. very easy to use ..... I also noticed those very same pictures are stored in the "My Pictures" file in XP...... I assume "Picassa" scans my Hard Drive ....downloading all of my Pics. QUESTION Am I wasting space ? should I delete the pictures off of the hard drive ? or should I leave it alone ? EDITOR'S NOTE: I wouldn't use the term "downloading" in reference to how Picassa scans your disk. Downloading means transferring a file from the Internet to your computer. I don't know if Picassa moves pics from one folder to another, or if it just keeps track of where they are. Try deleting ONE picture and see if Picassa can still "see" it. |
