It IS now possible to set your profile to private regardless of what age, and without lying. Go to: Account Settings, then click on "Privacy Settings". Under "Who can view my full profile" select "My friends only." Now, strangers can only see your basic info, which is your picture, where you're from, age, and last login. Your location you can hide by simply not entering it in. To hide your location go to: Edit profile, click on: Basic Info, and delete your location. If you don't want strangers knowing what you look like, simply change your default picture to any image you want. After that you're totally incognito! EDITOR'S NOTE:Thanks for the update. This feature was long overdue! |

hi! uhm i was wondering, is it possible to see a private profile without adding that person? EDITOR'S NOTE: As far as I know, the owner of the private profile must add YOU as a friend before you can view their profile. |

Is there a way to hack into some ones myspace? There's an ex-friend of mine and she hacked into mine, now I can't get it back. Can u help me? EDITOR'S NOTE: NO. If there was a way to hack into a Myspace profile, it would be plastered all over the Internet. Everyone would know it. The only 'hack' that exists is guessing someone's password. |

There's lots of hacks out there. Well, things you can do anyways. For example you can read any blog set to private simply by changing the .view to .edit in the URL of said blog. Search for it on google. EDITOR'S NOTE: Looks like this bug was (mostly) fixed by Myspace. If you list the entries in a Myspace blog, it will not show the private ones. So there's no way to get the "view" URL of the private entries (unless you bookmarked it before it was marked as private, which seems unlikely). |

I am wanting to have two pictures as a default. How is this accomplished. EDITOR'S NOTE: Ummm, default means one particular item. You have to pick one. Have you seen a profile with two pics in the usual spot? |

Okay.. I have two profiles, both set to private because of my ex-husband. I have the cities different from my actual city, and i had my friends list hidden on one. He apparently found a way into this as he called me and listed off all of my friends on each one. I asked him how he did this, and he said, "there are ways around it". How is this possible?? And is there anyway to prevent him from doing this again? This is a little scary.. he supposedly got to one of my profiles through another friend whose site is also set to private.. but he has the page bookmarked. How can he do this? Any help is appreciated.. thanks.. EDITOR'S NOTE: First, a "hidden" friends list is not really hidden. If you view the source of the page, everything is right there in plain view. Second, if I have access to the profile of any of your Myspace friends, I can see what you are writing to them, because it's right there on those pages. A little clicking from profile to profile, and you can do quite a bit of snooping. |

how do i make it so people who arent my friends cannot see my picture? i still want to keep it on for my friends to see though, i did it on facebook just cant find out on myspace. EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't think you can turn that off with Myspace. You could put no photo on the profile, then add it manually in one of the profile sections with an IMG tag. Then only friends would see it. |

Another way to block your profile picture from being seen by anyone except your friends is to delete your default profile picture and re-upload it to your profile. When you delete your main default photo without selecting another to take its place, it automatically does not post another picture unless you click on the radio button underneath another picture to do so. |
