I've enjoyed subscribing to your Tourbus (along with Patrick Crispen back in the olden days) since at least early 1998. I still have many, if not most, in my archives for some reason. Every once in awhile I get a hit when searching for something.

Happy Internet Birthday, Bob from someone who has been a fan from that Day 1. I had forgotten its title, but that "Internet Tourbus" was a valuable resource for our very first "Internet for Teachers" class and for all the subsequent sections that I taught. "AskBobRankin" is now a daily read! thank you for continuing to make this valuable info so readily available! It's amazing how much has changed in the past twenty years and goo to have a reliable source of information about it!

Congratulations, Bob. I've read every message since 1997, and, like Scott said, if it weren't for you, I'm sure I'd be off the grid. Happy birthday, Bob! Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it, especially since I'm not a computer whiz. Re Amazon, I usually find better buys from the old established retailers; the ones that Amazon is driving out of business.
Who, also, provide good customer service. With Amazon, there is none, and the prices are not generally less.

I purchased Lacey cookies on Amazon for $22, not including postage, thinking there would be more than the quantity purchased in containers at local stores. What a disappointment! The quantity was the same, but the cost was more than 5x more. At Trader Joe's the cost for Lacey cookies is $4 per container. Learned my lesson the hard way. Buyer beware!
