I saw one deep discounted price of a whole £1.01 off a £299.99 purchase.......

Not much of interest and the only thing I might have been tempted by was cheaper and had a 3 year care package direct from the manufacturer.

Amazon's search function bis getting very 'odd' even on regular days. Press the low to high price filter and the number of items reduces from hundreds to single figures.

Yes we buy from amazon, but only after checking prices elsewhere and by searching for the same item on amazon. Anyone else noticed how many times the same item sold by amazon on prime can be bought for different prices on multiple listings?

Thanks for all of your help over the years. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably have given up on computers and gone to live off grid by now! I've been following you since sometime around the year 2000 on the Steve and Jonnie show, "Website Wednesday ", 720am in Chicago. The basic computer maintenance tips you gave completely turned my computing experience around and gave me the confidence to build my own computers. Thanks Bob, couldn't have done it without you !

Thanks so much for your articles, Bob. I maintain a similar blog and know how much work it takes to get accurate and current info available to others.....for free. We all really appreciate your expert analysis and dedication to keeping others out of trouble.....and yes, we'll be shopping at Amazon over the next two days, but find that the "bargains" are somewhat underwhelming.

I've been on the bus under a variety of email addresses since those early days and I've enjoyed the ride! Keep the motor running! I think that we still have some old gum stuck under the seats after that Endless September and the unwashed hoard from AOL. Lol!
