Instagram is testing video selfies as a way for teenagers to verify their age and comply with platform rules. Facial analysis software is used to analyze the "social vouching" video, to confirm the age of the user. The technology is said to be accurate for teens with an error range of about 1.5 years. Sounds like a good time to invest in companies that make rubber masks and fake mustaches.

Clearly, we should keep TikTok from gathering sensitive personal information. They might get in the way of Amazon, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Verizon, and everybody else who's doing it over here.

Maybe some campaign emails contain more lies and mis-information that are being recognized by Google's anti-spam algorithm? If so they have a great product to market to sane responsible people.

Most of us try to be sane and responsible. Yet we often have differing views of the same information we are bombarded with daily. Everyone has to decide for themselves, and learn to live with the consequences of their choices. No algorithms.
