What's really sneaky is that when you put "Satellite DirectTV reviews" in your search engine, you will find so called fraud sites and other sites that advertised this on that web site.
You really have to dig deep, like this site or scroll down to see negative reviews.
Thanks for the heads up Bob!

Yeah you have to be careful with these type of products. There are so many scams out there. I fell victim to one of them A while back. It said it was A one time fee but then once they got my intital payment they sprung A bunch of hidden charges on me. I went through A couple of these until I finally found A good legitimate service for my laptop at this site. http://satellitedirxxxx.xxx

They gave me everything as advertiested with No BS no hidden or monthly fees. Satellite Direct has a good reputation and they run this through clickbank so you are protected by A money back guarantee.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Of course it's run through Clickbank... almost ALL the scams are! Nice try...

Finally. Any advice on how to push your review to the top results on google and other searches? There are so many phony review sites posted by the scammers themselves.

Hello

Good warnings for BUYING this type of software. I have researched this and found that pretty much ALL of these programs do the same thing. Many foreign channels and a lot of channels that you wouldn't want to watch anyway. Some of them offer more ways to get channels. They are not all bad though. I use a FREE program that actually does more than most of the pay ones. I ignore all the foreign channels and only add the good channels to my favourite list. Very good p**n blocker. The real value is the movies on demand. Just watched Zombieland in HD and "The book of Eli" in "ok" quality. Anyway, don't knock all of those programs, just the pay ones. I use a program called Readon Tv. It's not perfect but it's free

The only reason I found this site is because I was thinking about buying into it, well thanks to Bob I will not be doing that. I agree that people who are out to get peoples money are only going to get it if they don't do their homework.

Good luck folks.

Thanks for this. My husband and I stumbled on one of these things via a MSN link. We both recently become unemployed and do indeed miss cable, so we took a look. I instantly became suspicious because of the INSANE number of promised channels and a banner declaring that this software was 70% off for the low price of 50 dollars.

I was even more alarmed when searching for reviews and found blogs with only one entry, that entry being a glowing review of the product and a link back to buy. No email addresses. No other entries. No reviews of the actual show content. Just "wow, how great is this GIMME THE CASH!"

It took me finding this site and all the bad reviews on here before my husband was ready to admit it was a total fraud. And to put the nail in the coffin for that when we tried to close the window a pop up declared "we can offer you a DEAL!"

Yeah..... no. Thank you for your honest review and link list!

i bought the one called tv4pc, the program say also thousands of channels and local stations like abc etc.
well first off i had proplems when i first installed it,you can'r call them an once they get your money email back could take up to 2 weeks and they keep asking what the problem is over and ove. i live in new york,bu the so called local channels are there local channel which is california, not my local channel, bu they don't tell you this before they get your money, and yes most are foreign. some are form us or england. i was able to see mlb.com for a week stopped working they couldn't help me. i think i was blocked.lot off other channels worked and stopped working, they just told me to down load new updates, just got worse, i checked out a couple of other sights offering the same stuff, saying lots of sports channels but never ever saying exactly what channels your getting. i tried emeail 2 other they don't email you back on purpose, they just want your money.there is even one so called article that say the times cnn suggest these 3 sight are the best, this so called article are link to these so called top 3 sight all from the smae company, good luck

Thank you, not just for the very clear (in my opinion, clearly others aren't getting it...) synopsis of those programs: SCAM. We canceled cable to save money, and now just watch the streams of shows days later, but I've been getting impatient and want to watch things streaming live. I'm logical enough, though, to Google it (I think I even put the word "scam" in my search) and found your site.

Oh, anyway, thank you not just for your article, but for providing a place for people to post links... and for filtering through them. So far I'm really enjoying TVU, which I'd never heard of before, even though I've searched for this kind of thing many times. I also love getting international TV stations, since I was an exchange student, and being able to find the live feeds is incredibly helpful (and it's legal, and it saves me tons of money over buying international packages through a satellite dish provider!).

Thanks again. It's weird that people are so skeptical of the skeptics out there...

All i have to say is i bought TVU a couple of years ago and i DO get Spike tv - I`ve tried to find the feed other ways and can`t seem to get one working any other way - so , for me it was worth it . I get american spike and i`m happy . TVU when i bought it was a lot cheaper then.

I bought Satellite Direct and it's crap. You do get loads of channels but they are not the actual channels, just random clips recorded off the channels. The video quality was bad too. It was definetely a scam but I'm hoping to get my money back.
