Evidently I am in good company as I have just joined the ranks of the innocently duped. I only wish that I had heard of you before I pulled this bonehead mistake. As soon as I'm done here, I will uninstall the Worthless junk(all it does is dramatically slow down my PC),and attempt to get a refund. Thank you sincerely for the heads up !!

I was researching it myself and was very skeptical. You just confirmed my instincts. I know I'm steering clear of it. Someone had recommended tvpc.com for live tv and it's PERFECT!

Thank you very much for this article.

Thanks! This is just what I was looking for. I recently moved from the US to Egypt and wanted to see if there was a way to get all the channels I love here in Cairo. I started looking into the tv on pc hype and got a bad feeling. I even saw one site using fake VeriSign and Hacker Safe sign to lure in more customers. Just remember these types of sites will do something like this and it is easy to verify if the signs are real by clicking on them. If you are not directed to the actual VeriSign or McAfee sites to show it is a real sign, then just report it and don't buy! I am greatful that someone has an honest voice about these types of scams. Thanks for the heads up. I also posted this to my facebook so others can see!

Too Late for me, to those of you even considerng this, FORGET IT, it's as Bob says a scam, and the worst part is that I knew it sounded too good to be true. The site as I found out very quickly was a list of free tv open air channels. Don't be dupped, and "save your money" Thanks Bob,keep up the good work, too bad I had not read your article or found your website sooner. Kenny

Hi, I just thought I'd let you know that your link to the "FOX" channel is actually a link to the "FOX News" website and not the one where you go to actually watch episodes and see television schedules.

Here's the correct link if you want to update/correct that for others: http://www.fox.com -- FOX Broadcasting Company

It's because the website that airs actual primetime shows is technically called "FOX Broadcasting Company" when you search whereas searching just "FOX" takes you to their news site.

They got me for the $5.00 trial. Took me 5 minutes to download and 5 minutes to Cancel Immediately. What a SCAM!!!. Why isn't someone exposing them and closing them down? Satellitedirect.com and Internettvonpcreport.com and streamdirect.com STAY AWAY from these frauds!!

Folks, nothing has changed from last year. Both Direct TV and Dish Network are encrypting all their channels with Nagravision 3. It's very difficult and probably illegal to disable it.
Your not going to receive PPV or premium channels on your pc without paying for them.

I tried one of the deals listed and immediately saw that it was not for me due to all the reasons listed in your excellent article. I emailed the customer service address and was very happy to hear that my money was fully refunded. No questions, no hassle.

I guess my success with TV on my PC through Direct Steam is to contradictory to your opinion to be published here.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I have to assume you mean "Stream Direct", which looks like the same tired old scam -- "$49 for 4500 HD Channels!" Please reread my article to see why I think this software (even if it works) is a bad deal.
