I just got the "NoDishNetwork" for $35 promising I'd get 4000 channels. 95% of the channels dont work. Dont waste your time or money. Its bogus advertising! Im going to attempt to get my money back. (Im sure that'll be fun)

I've been using Satellite Direct, and its pretty good. There's a laundry list of channels to choose from, including international ones as well. I usually have my laptop with me on campus, so I can watch tv there too. This site should give you any info you need before making any purchases http://{blah}satellitetv{blahblahblah}.com/

EDITOR'S NOTE: I've munged the URL because it's the same old scam. Kevin, you need to work on cloaking your Clickbank links, if you want to be taken seriously as a scammer. :-)

Its all a steaming pile, be watchful of the different companies that hawk this rubbish, a new one is TVDevo. Same crap different name. All the content can be found for free online, and the choice of TV channels is a joke.

Yes, this is a Scam I purchased this and it was the exact program I had downloaded for free the day before. The install stated at the bottom that if I had purchased this I should ask for a refund. I dont know how they get away with this scam. I was very dissapointed

Thanks Bob. I WAS interested for just a moment in free PC TV, until I found this info on your website. I thought as much, just another "marketing Scam". It's great to see people like you empowering the people to ask questions/research before they spend.

Thanks again for your efforts
It saved me money!!

I also purchased Satellite Direct and it is a scam. My computer went down and I lost the software and they refused to reinstall it again. they stole my money and I have nothing to show for it. They are also very slow in responding to you when there is a problem. There is also no way you can call them because they give no phone number. They are a scam. The channels I wanted to watch didn't work half the time. Don't purchase it.

There is no way you can turn your PC into a satellite TV. Get real! If you want to have a cheap satellite TV, then purchase one. You can always subscribe to some companies that do not require upfront payment…

you mentioned these 3 above
but at least one of them requires you to load
THEIR player to see it
i have always been concerned (past bad experiances) with loading a PLAYER from an outside source
seems to open you up to ad ware or worse
any input is welcome
i have used hulu for some time
its pretty good but they are often behind in keeping TV series caught up or up to date
then some are there one day and vanish for months before returning with gaps in the series

Scam. The other thing to think about is that if you were downloading movies and tv shows to your computer, it would very quickly use up all your download GB. I would not trust any unknown software to put onto my computer. If it sounds too good to be true, it generally is.

You might give XBMC a try. Started life as X Box Media Center, but now it's just a media interface that you can run on practically anything. Get the Free Cable add on. CBS is still a bit of a pain but not as much as it always is on the web. Their website always freezes on me after watching a couple shows.

I forget about it and watch Hulu and Netflix for a while, then come back and there's a bunch of shows on CBS to watch :-). Catch up on NCIS.

How long will this scam last? The creator has been cheating people since yers. When I write in Google "mobiletvelite scam", there are a few pages with links to sites, which in fact are advertisements of this fake program. Too bad, I bought it first, and only now I am reading what this revolutionary "miracle" is. Argh!

There is no way you can turn your PC into a satellite TV.
The latest and a lot well-liked in the latest tendencies may be the >cheap dreambox, that has better requirements regarding HD for example MPEG4/H.264.
