Just one more reason why I am not yet prepared to install Windows 10. Many thanks for your comments on Edge. |

I strongly dislike Cortana wanting to grab ALL your activities including text messages from your phone. Gross invasion of privacy. Maybe it was an NSA request so "Big Brother" is able to spy on us. Guess I won't be using Cortana. Chrome also grabbed my photos from my phone. Another no-no. |

I agree with you. It needs more work. About half of the websites I try to visit (all legal) I get a 404 not found. That's aggravating. |

I agree with you that I will just keep using Chrome and not Edge , also in Edge the zoom function |

I really do not like edge. To difficult to reach and tweak settings. I miss the "F11" full screen shortcut key, and other shortcut keys. How can I voice my concerns to MS? |

I got rid of it quick because I'm used to quick access to things in my tool bar on IE. Also programs like Roboform and Norton were made inactive without any explaination or choice. Programs I've used for years. I hate it when companies assume you be on board with them totally changing what's worked for many people. I get enough of tha BS with Apple products |

It seems like any time that Microsoft makes changes to it's software, it makes matters worse. If it ain't broke, why fix it? I have no desire to upload Windows 10. It sounds like Edge is in that same ballpark. |

I am unclear about the 11 MB of memory being used by Edge. When it was at that size, was it capable of doing most of the things that Chrome/FF were doing with their larger memory use? E.g., does it load all the links, pics, etc the same way with same availability? If it does, that's probably the most/only impressive thing I have heard about edge. |

My problem with Edge is that it doesn't print like the old IE. I have several reports that I print off of IE, but I can't print them at all on Edge because of the formatting. Also, until I find a colorizer, Edge is dull, dull, dull, and I can't find a way to have more than either a "light" or "dark" theme. It's not that I have to have crayon-colored pages, it's just not my style. One more gripe, Edge keeps trying to take over as the boss browser. I have Chrome as my primary browser, but every day Edge asks me if I want to open a page in Edge instead of Chrome. No, no I don't! |

After some 34 years of peddling operating systems and ancillary programs, Microsoft continues to dig deeper holes for itself. I am amazed that anyone would still expect a quality product of any kind from this major junk merchant. I'm sure most everyone has his own pet Microsoft peeve; mine is that, since Win 7 (or maybe Vista), it appears they hired a group of fifth-graders to rewrite Windows Explorer, decimating its power user features. I have never seen that reported -- could I possibly be the only person who noticed? The Microsoft logo should be required by law to include the text, "Microsoft - Masters of Mediocrity". Win 10 may well be the product that forces me over into the Apple camp. That's a decision I will have to make when Microsoft ends support for Win 7. |

My version of Edge DOES NOT HAVE A FORWARD BUTTON!! If anyone has a fix, I would be very grateful. |

One major flaw I have found is the "View Source" does not work. I have an application written in HTML and I am constantly opening source code for editing. Edge has a View Source in a right click menu that just locks Edge up when it is clicked on. Also there does not seem to be any way to select your own editor for the code. I elected to drop back to my old browser as I cannot seem to get an answer to this problem from Microsoft or the community forum. |

I am sticking with Chrome because it suits my needs and style. I used Edge for four days and was unimpressed. |

Hi Bob! I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Overall, I liked the newer version much better, but to my horror, I discovered my MS Money Plus program would not run on this version. It asked for an older version of IE. Is there a way around this problem. I gave up and reinstalled Windows 8.1 after about a week because I had to access my Money software. I've tried Quicken and don't find it to be as user friendly so have just stuck with MS Money. Do you know of another way to use MS Money on Windows 10? |
