Online Games
Looking for some challenging word play, or a little mindless diversion? Here are a bunch of websites where you can play online web-based games right in your web browser. Most of them are programmed with Shockwave, Flash or Java so there's no need to download anything. |
Word Games
Everyone knows that Nail-Biting Refreshes The Feet. Oops! I meant to say that The Best Things In Life Are Free. How did that come out so wrong? I must have had my brain hooked up to that anagram generator too long... Try some word fun that will stretch your brain, instead of turning it to mush like television.

Your list is really great, especially to learn of an on line, new Sudoku daily. Here is one odd game that holds my interest a long time. planarity, played on line. The site is http://www.planarity.net
The site is easy to use. It is fun to watch what I think of as strings tangled, get untangled by passing over each other. With real string, the tangle would get worse. The game is based on sophisticated math, I think, over my head!

Another great place, for online games is GameHouse. I have purchased about 15 games from them and still love to play their online games. There are several of the Deluxe games, available to play online, for free. I got "hooked" on Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, by playing it online and bought it. http://www.gamehouse.com

A game site I play on daily is Pogo.com. They have many, many different games. Card games, board games, mahjong games, solitaire. Most are free but some are only available by paying a membership annual fee. Very reasonable if you like games.

I'm not suggesting that anyone be outraged by this. The recently enacted FCC rules on net neutrality do not explicitly forbid this development. Data caps are content neutral, after all, fitted hats wholesale and a network management device used to relieve system congestion, we're told. But I wonder if the antitrust laws may spark an investigation or two. personality caps Consider the noises the European Union is making over complaints that Google favors its own content over its competitors in search results. Congress is getting involved as well with Senator Michael Lee (R-UT) calling for hearings on Google. I would think that consumers would find it easier to abandon Google than it would be to ditch AT&T for another Internet service provider. DC Shoes Hats The choices are exactly what? The cable alternative and wireless. The latter is not a viable replacement for desktop service as the data caps imposed there from all providers are pretty severe for easy media consumption.
