Some AskBob Tips
Did you know... you can ask a question using the search box at the top of every page on the AskBobRankin.com website? Just type your question, or a Google-style keyword search, then hit the "Ask Bob!" button.
Your query will be fed into a custom search engine, which will rummage through the 1600+ articles I've published here, and return links to the ones that are most likely to contain the answer you seek.
Give it a try now. Enter something in the search box, and see it in action. Enter a free-form question like "How can I send a free fax?", a few keywords like "best antivirus," or whatever strikes your fancy.
There's no place like home. And because all of my newsletters point to a newly published article page on AskBobRankin.com, you may never have seen the home page of this website. Click this link, or click my face on the top left of any page to reach the home page. You'll find links to the most recent articles, along with links to recent reader comments.
Along the left-hand column, you'll find a link to my bio, a listing of categories, and a link at the bottom to the Full Archives. That page has links to EVERY article I've published here since 2005, organized by category.
Something NEW: Game-Based Learning
Do you like to play games? I'm excited about a new project that starts THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND. In a nutshell, it's a simple, fun game -- sort of like a treasure hunt -- that helps you learn about tech products to solve a specific problem.
You'll visit a few website links, find a hidden image, and rummage for the answers to some ridiculously easy questions. (I guarantee you will laugh at some of the WRONG answers.) Oh, and there are prizes too!
I don't usually publish anything on Sunday, so I wanted to give you a heads-up, to be on the lookout for the 2015 Summer of Wifi game, bright and early on Sunday morning. Don't miss it!

I am committed to being in worship services on Sunday morning and evening. But I enjoy games so I'll check it out. Thanks.

That search feature is a nice tool. Nice that it searches your articles and returns your articles.

Whaddaya know! A homepage! I never knew! And the Ask Bob box - I was never quite sure where that went. Currently I shift all your newsletters to a separate folder in Outlook (913 items to date) and search the folder in Outlook whenever I have a problem. This means I can delete that folder and just keep the current newsletter and its search box facility.
