If it's not in the recycle bin, then there are a few recovery tools available, but they don't always work. If it's an important file, they can be real life savers. One would be Active@ UNERASER and another would be iolo Search and Recover.

Try Zero Assumption Recovery's ZAR32; they've also got an application especially for recovering from corrupted memory cards. There are free downloads (limited functionality) at their site: http://www.z-a-recovery.com

I need to recover deleted sent and received emails from my Novell Groupwise and Eudora email accounts. There are so many software programs out there that claim to do this, what is a good program that will recover the emails along with their attachments?

My laptop motherboard failed. I removed the HDD and bought the enclosure and connected the HDD via usb as an external drive. When I try to open some of the applications I get a path/filename error. The hardrive was C in the laptop and appears as F: when connected as USB. How can i resolve this ??
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Windows registry makes it hard to do what you want. You should install the programs again on your C: drive, and then you should be able to access the data files on the F: drive. Alternatively, you can boot from the USB drive (if your BIOS allows), and it will be recognized as the C: drive.
