I'm hopefully not alone in confusion when terms like "clone" and "image" are implied to be the same. They are not.
Cloning is a file by file copy. Imaging is one giant file.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The article is good, but I think the practical difference is semantic. They both result in an exact duplicate.
