I forgoten my password to facebook can u PLEASE!!!! help

Same as Jim. I tried to log onto facebook at home, no password. I cannot reset the thing: the email NEVER comes. I am on day 5 of trying to fix this situation. I know that they have 20+ million users, but damn, this is the 21rst century. The are hundreds of large sites that can do this right; why so hard for facebook?

There is no auto response. No weird squiggly letters. No emergency contact. Just deafening silence.

But i do get emails when my friends post new comments to me. SO why not the new password getting through?

Yet i am afraid that the browser i have it open in will close and i will not see facebook again.

It's been a week and i still cant get help with my password.

i didn't receive a useful reply from facebook support even after more than 2 weeks. i signed up for a second account by now and told my friends to delete the other one. too bad but that's the last thing i could do to help myself. i'm quite disappointed.. too bad so many people use facebook, it hardly leaves any alternatives.

Bob, I guess I have the same problem as other people recently. Correct password, reset it about 40 times, no response from facebook, not gonna sign up for another account. I have 3 other users on the same computer, they have individual accounts with facebook, yet I am the one who is having trouble logging on. I used to be able to log on with my cell phone, I cant do that either. What now?

Bob, I am having a the same issue. I have not been able to login to facebook.com for over 2 weeks now. I have tired many times to reset my password, but it not reseting and I am not getting the reset emails. (I have checked my spam folder, and done what the help section recommends, but still no reset email)

I don't know if it takes customer service a day, week, or month but I would love to get the password reset email so I could get back on the website. I continue to get the emails from facebook with notifactions messages and event invites, but I can't login to see them.

I've got the same problem as those people here...I've wanted to change my password,so I clicked on "forgot your password" and I entered my e-mail,the problem is that I didn't receive e-mail from facebook,so I didn't change the password,but now I also can't log in on my account....can you help me please?? What should I do now???

Same problem as everyone else on here! I've searched high and low for an answer, tons of emails have been sent.

I cant get into my facebook account, i cant remember my password. what do i do, i tried a few things and nothin worked.

I couldn't get onto my account, so I thought resetting my password would hopefully solve it. I was wrong. I got the email to reset my password but when I clicked on the link it sent me back to the same reset page. It did not give me any options to change my password and now I can't even log onto my facebook. I am very upset. I hope you can help me.

I am not able to login at all either. I did not forget my password, Facebook is just not recognizing that I exist anymore. It says I have an incorrect email/password combo. This is the only email and only password I have ever had on Facebook, it just decided not to work one day. I tried resetting, and I got the email, but it said the email address that I have is not associated with my account, so I was supposed to email them from the account that is associated with my facebook account. WHAT? That is the ONLY email address I have. I have the password written down so I know it's the right one. Anyway, I have emailed them all week and still have no response. All of my friends say my page is there, I just can't get in. REALLY frustrated..... I hope someone can help.

I am in totak agreement with megan. it is not letting me log on--i keep getting the same message as megan--i put my password in and it does not accept it--i am totally-totally frustrated. many of my friends are members of facebook and will not im me on yahoo--because they are set up on facebook. would it not be logical to explain the characters that are need for facebook password?I have tried a capital letter,a lopwer case letter and numbers and characters on the numbers--nothing.
