The only one that worked was gotfreefax.com. They did send the email confirmation link; I clicked it; then they sent a confirmation email that the fax was sent. The others failed to do any of these things. I'll stick with this service. It actually works. |

Why do so many advertise "free" when it's only a free trial? To me, thats false advertising !! |

I only need to receive faxes. I just found faxbetter.com, which claims to be totally free. Anyone familiar with this service? |

Never mind my question about faxbetter.com. I found the "catch". I must receive a fax every seven days or the account will be deactivated. I only need this for ONE client of mine who still uses fax technology. But I may only get a fax once a month. That's why it's worth paying any monthly fees. |

Had to fax a document from way out in the Mariana Islands (near Guam) to a mainland US company that has no email (must be the last one out there), and no way did I want to run all over the island looking for a fax machine. This article saved my day; thanks a million! The FaxZero interface was simple, the service free, and I got the confirmation email that my fax was successfully sent within 6 minutes. This service worked exactly as the aricle described for me; please ~ give it a try! |

I use http://www.printavision.com they let you send and receive faxes for free. they also have low prices for graphic design. EDITOR'S NOTE: No free faxing here... they charge $0.99 per document. |

Bob - FAXZERO will also send up to 15 fax pages for $1.99 (have to use Paypal) - called PREMIUM FAX. It was amazingly easy - no enrollment, just scan in your doc (several formats), go to the website (faxzero), enter header/routing info, attach the doc and pay. So far so good ... |

15 fax pages for 1.99, it is more than 13 cent per page, I can recommend Online Fax Services from Popfax- http://www.popfax.com, it is twice cheaper, easy to use, fast, and highly professional. EDITOR'S NOTE: I had poor experience with PopFax. See http://askbobrankin.com/free_internet_faxing_services.html |

What happened? I am very satisfied with Popfax services so far. EDITOR'S NOTE: You can see my comments about PopFax in the link I gave. |

My main concern with "Free" fax services - or even paid services - is security. The main thing I use a fax for now is documents that I do not want to send by insecure email. What assurance do you have that the faxes you send or receive by FAXZERO will be secure? EDITOR'S NOTE: None, actually. But in the case of FaxZero, I've known the owner for 20+ years, and would vouch for his integrity. |

I hope this will work. |

Like a lot of people I don't send to many faxes out but when I need a fax service I also use FaxZero.com. I've been using it for a few years now without any issues. |

I had been using Gotfreefax.com for a couple years as needed and have been very pleased with it. Today, however, I tried to send a fax on it and it wouldn't do anything except let me fill out the information lines. It wouldn't let me upload a file, and it wouldn't let me type a cover page. What's up with THAT?! So I switched over to FaxZero and am now happy with that service. |

What a bunch of whining babies. I have used some of free fax services since the late 1990's, started having to fax resumes as a graduate /no fax machine, didnt want to go to the career centre. Some have come and gone. Last I used was faxzero some years ago. I found out it has a big Faxzero logo on the send page, but what do you want for FREE. excellent service |

I use Fax Zero all the time and never have a problem. You are limited to 5 faxes per day with a limit of 3 pages each. I don't fax that often and I cut my land line. |
