Even though i'm twelve i sign up for a lot of things. But the things that your child can sign up for is Kids-Online, TK For Kids, and Kid Rocket, the other 7 you have to put her age as 13.

I think the sites on this list are a little. . . young, I guess, for an 11 year old. I hardly ever go on webkinz anymore. I agree that myspace isn't really that safe for a preteen to use, though. Facebook is better, along with it'smylife.com and fanfiction.net.

www.twistynoodle.com
Twisty Noodle has coloring pages and worksheets that you can personalize (for free). Customize the pages by changing the text, font, and template. Great for teachers, parents, and easy enough for kids to use.

A site that I let my son look at is http://www.Mindware.com - its a website that promotes brain stimulation through fun toys and games. I like to know which games/toys my son likes. Good source for family entertainment that doesn't revolve around the TV.

My site is www.science-for-kids.net

I am writing short and fun science-related poems that are aimed at
elementary school kids, as a teaching aid for parents and teachers.
It's early days still (I've been doing it about 2 months) but I think
I've got some good stuff there and there's a lot more to come.

All the best
Dan

I have developed a site for younger kids...www.thegooberguys.com. It has stories about The Goober Guys TM, coloring pages, games, jokes and I'm trying to get "stuff" (stories, pictures and such) to post for everyone to see that kids have done or made. I hope to be able to offer The Goober Guys merchandise in the future. I invite all to come and visit!
Thank you
Pam and The Goober Guys TM

Oh yeh...now that is what I'm talking about. This is a great list...especially after you add in all the links from your readers. Thanks for taking the time to make this list. Here are my additions to the list
...

http://www.drawinghowtodraw.com/ (A site with 100s of drawing lessons, online drawing tools, as well as a library full of 1000s of drawing tutorials elsewhere on the net.)

and

http://www.artistshelpingchildren.org/ (A great place for kids, parents, and teachers to find fun arts and crafts activities, color book pages, paper folding instructions, and much more.)

Thanks again.
