Toontown is now free (as of a couple weeks ago). Apparently Disney has a new paid service (not DisneyBlast, but it appears to have some And how could you leave off VMK - Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom. Free, fun and popular? And of course, the best unofficial entertaining Disney site is http://www.subsonicradio.com -- free disney park audio and ride music. |

I think this is a great site for finding ways to entertain kids and teach them something about science at the same time: The Happy Scientist Blog -- http://web.mac.com/krampf/iWeb/Site/TheHappyScientist/TheHappyScientist.html |

Microsoft Windows 98, 98SE, and ME are not supported operating systems for Google Earth. You can currently install Google Earth on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. EDITOR'S NOTE: Windows 98/ME is no longer supported by Microsoft, and is not safe at any speed. If you're still running Win98/ME, move up to XP. |

I checked out the Puzzle Pirates and I don't think it is appropriate for kids. There is a drinking game where the pirates get drunk and there is also poker. Not what I would like my kids to be playing. |

Okay; here is the best site for kids I have ever seen. They have a browser plug in that blocks EVERY web site on the net, then only allows to open those sites that are on their approved list. The site is zigback.com. They have so many sites for kids to go to that is all they need. Myspace, youtube and all that is blocked. You got to check it out. I got a 13 and an 11 year old daughters, and I have to keep my eye on them. This is perfect. |

I'm a cartoonist. I do a syndicated comic strip titled "Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids". Not long ago I created a blog to display art from young readers. Under each drawing I post encouraging comments. The response from kids, parents and teachers has been terrific. The blog is www.kidcartoonists.com. |

My son has found a really cool new website called KidsTube.com It has just started but seems to be growing quickly. It's basically a Kids version of YouTube allowing kids to create and submit their own original videos as well as other videos they like. All videos are manually approved before being put on the site and the crew over there seems to put alot of effort into keeping the site clean and kid-friendly! KidsTube.com |

I like TOOTSville.com. Tootsville is an online interactive virtual world with tons of kid games where children can safely hang out, chat, play games and explore. Ages 4 - 15. In honor of the Olympics. They have created the Tootlympics virtual world where you can compete against other users to win gold, silver and bronze medals. Tootsville is a really cool site. Check it out! |
