Free Satellite TV on PC? - Comments Page 11

Does anyone know if those free TV for Pc sites offer any decent foreign Channels? |

Yep, they got me. However, they had it discounted down all the way to $19, down from $50. If this price is that low one could argue that as a video stream aggregating program for less than $20 it might worth it to some people. Right on though about the cagey avoidance of listing the channels. That should have been a red flag. I'm not going to dispute the charge though, like I said they matched the pricepoint with the actual value of the code, and it does add a certain convenience in that they are all nicely aggregated. OK maybe I'm trying to make myself feel less stupid. |

Tried to find something negative about Premium TV for PC before I purchased it. Unfortunately, this posting was like on page five of Google. I'm not quite so willing to say good-bye to my 40 bucks. Maybe if PayPal realizes that it is not a legitimate company they will quit doing business with them. |

I have not personally used any of these 'internet TV' services, because they are 100% free. Anyone telling you different and charging you money is mostlikely just trying to take advantage of you. (Sort of like charging you a toll to use an interstate highway). The only exceptions to this, and for obvious reasons, would be pay programming such as NHL Center Ice, The Portal, etc. If you want truly free internet TV may I suggest checking out the 'Free TV' page of my company website at http://davespcr.com/FreeTV.aspx I have over 25 links to quality movie, tv and kid-friendly programming offered 100% for free. |

Thankyou Bob , for answering my question . I appreciate you saving me money ! |

The only true free satellite service involves the purchase and installation of a satellite receiver and a satellite dish that is pointed at an actual satellite in space. There are many free satellite channels available without requiring a subscription of any kind. Some modify these receivers illegally to descramble paid services. See http://free-satellite.org |

I could have told you that! Tv on the web...ha! If you could get free tv on the web don't you think everyone would have it by now? Have you ever seen anyone get tv on their computer? How many threw money away on this one? It is always good to wait and see what everyone else does, don't be so fast to buy junk. why can't those adds be stoped or prosecuted for fraud? Or better yet take their computers away... |

I'm glad I found this site and saved my $49.95. Howvever I found 2 free sources for free tv. First is an AOL site (sorry I dont have the exact address) where there is a libary of 1000s and 1000s of TV shows to be seen for free. All you have to do is watch a couple of commercials before & during the show. They have some shows there that I haven't seen on TV in years. Another one is Satellite TV Media Player 4.4 (google it). They have 1000s of of shows from all over the world. Like myself, you will probably find a handful of things that catch your eye. But once again, its 100% free. You can't beat that price! |

Excuse me! I promote free tv on my website: www.navigatingtheworld.org/Snippets.html. The services available are from Livestation (includes stations from around the world) BBC, CNN, Al-Jazeera (in English), France 24 (in English), MTV, ITN (UK) Sky News, NBC10, Russia Today (in English) and several radio stations. Everything is first class - just like my web-site. You can read about me at www.navigatingtheworld.Blog/html and I do know what I am talking about - unlike it seems Bob Rankin. The downloads are free and they work superbly on Windows and Mac. As I write this I am watching live Al-Jazeera (in English)5/19/09 14:15 hours, i.e. 2:15 EST. I have used the software (easy to install) for a year now. There is also MIRO - again free of hundreds of quality channels/programing. Enjoy - wherever you are vis wi-fi. It's not magic!.... just reality and actuality. EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't see where we disagree. My beef is with the $49 scamware product that advertises "free satellite tv" but does not deliver. There are plenty of websites that offer links to free online TV but that's not the issue. |

I had no problems with my TV for PC.. I dont get what all your complaints are about. Do you guys bicker so much when you see how high cable bills are??? CABLE and SATELLITE COMPANIES are the REAL scammers!!! Paying 50 bucks for some cool software, with some different channels... is great. I really do not see what the problem is?? Or how about Microsoft charging HUNDREDS of dollars for software... THAT ISNT A SCAM????? Come on... you guys need to get your priorites straight! EDITOR'S NOTE: If you're willing to pay $50 for something with NO VALUE, that's fine. Nobody is stopping you. |

Hi Bob, I understand perfectly well what your post is getting at. Unfortunately, there is so much bull-bleeping misleading content over the Net delivered by vendors and through the ignorance of so-called reviewers who's out to make a quick buck. Puts me in the mind of the snake-oil salesmen selling a dream that has no shot ever coming true. That doggon term... Free "Satellite TV" on/to/for PC or whatever variation used is confusing newbies, and certainly had me fooled a couple of years ago. Nevertheless, I found some value when using/testing the top leading software services/packages. I always tell my visitors they will receive the next best thing to paid TV. So that it doesn't lead to something misleading and deceitful. I rather not make the sale than someone becoming disappointed later. Most buyers fall under the age group 18-30s. They need to identify the top leading brands of today, understand who issues the refund--vendor or a 3rd party, the pros and cons, and find a hands-on tester that actually knows little bit about what s/he is talking about. I found a satellite tv for pc program that works really well... Contrary to your post. At this squidoo site a ton of other squidoo'ers have given the product a really high rating. So others agree with me as well. I would give it a look if I were you. You can see the squidoo page here http://www.suidoo.com/satellite-tv-for-pc-- EDITOR'S NOTE: Uggh. Squidoo is little more than a haven for spammers, scammers and scrapers. Tread lightly... |
