Thank you for directing me to the free sites. Due to the high cost of gas, we are cutting back. My kids love all the nick channels though. Now they can still see cartoons without the cost to us. I do have a question. Is there some way to get these shows to play from my pc to my TV? We own a 2yr old plasma TV. Thanks EDITOR'S NOTE: Yes, see http://askbobrankin.com/tv_as_computer_monitor.html |

How can this software - satellite tv be downloaded into a receiver that can be hooked to a television. A friend told that he has this running for years! EDITOR'S NOTE: It can't. To get Satellite TV, you need a satellite dish and a service provider. |

Hey Harry! You can check http://www.clickandseetv.com . There are a lot of streaming channels and it's free to watch. |

There is this site I found, I think it might be useful for people. I have bought the software and it works. -- http://www.watchsatellitetvonpc.zzz EDITOR'S NOTE: I've obfuscated the URL because it's obviously a shill for the same worthless, bogus software. |

How can you argue that satellite TV on PC does not work and at the same time have adds like "The computer TV" linking to and "Satellite TC on PC" where you can buy the software that you are saying is not working at all... EDITOR'S NOTE: I've addressed that question 3 or 4 times already. Please see the earlier comments. |

There is a way to get free satellite TV for PC. I was researching into this with some guys at college as our cable charge just kept on going up and up and up! This costs 50 bucks, you get 3000+ channels, not only all the ones on your TV right now like CNN, NBC, MTV, you also get satellite radio stations. The user interface is real easy to use, all you need is an internet connection. You can also link your laptop to your TV and watch as you usually would. I will put the link below, there is no spyware we checked it, and it is not illegal like most other deals...check it out, really recommend it, especially for college students and people who travel. It's called Satellite TV for PC link is below http://tshelbourn.ipodpsp.hop.clickbank.zzz EDITOR'S NOTE: Shame on you, Tom. The software you've linked to is NO DIFFERENT than any of the other SAT-TV-PC scams. And of course it's a Clickbank affiliate link that benefits you when other people get scammed. |

I've read your posts and understand your concerns regarding the Free TV For PC dilemma. First let me thank this site's admin & commentators for allowing me this opportunity to address this issue. I myself am an administrator for a FREE TV website. Rest assured it does not cost $40. The software is however considered FREE being that there are no monthly service bills ever and the direct link to download this software entails a one-time incentive. I personally believe this is an advantage over paying $90 a month or more for satellite / cable tv. Yes, the catch is that the 1,000+ channels & radio stations I solicit have to be viewed and / or listened to through Windows Media Player 10 (system requirements for the software are listed here: tubefree.info). But wait! Folks are already multi-playing through their game consoles on their televisions, through their PCs! If one were hardware inclined Windows Media Player could be wired to your TV somehow. Keep in mind that the Player can adjust to a fullscreen view and display a quality picture. The software I'm explaining requires no extra hardware, saves you from spending $40 or more, saves you from monthly satellite / cable bills & is extremely simple to setup. Ultimately you'll be enjoying FREE TV for the masses from the comfort of your computer, 1000+ channels & radio stations. I thank you for your kind attention. EDITOR'S NOTE: So many other sites offer everything you have for free. Why pay for yours? |

Hi all, I know this seems unreasonable. But I once sold Satellite tv for your pc on ebay and made quite a bit of money doing it. But ebay recently changed their policy on digital downloads so am no longer able to do so. Bad for me good for you. Because I am now giving it away. There is a total of 10 downloads and 2 seperate site I supply links to that do not require any download. Here is the link for free: Enjoy!!! http://www.ACKK-STAY-AWAY.com/Ebay/satellitetv123.htm EDITOR'S NOTE: There's a crack in your altruism... or maybe in your head. I've changed the URL above to protect the innocent. |

The editor was kind enough to point out that 'other sites' offer the same for free. I don't doubt it but I'd like the editor to divulge them to our esteemed readers which sites do. EDITOR'S NOTE: Several free online TV sites have been mentioned in the article and subsequent comments. I also wrote a full article on Joost, which seems to be the most promising of the bunch. See http://askbobrankin.com/what_is_joost.html |

Hi .. I had just purchased "premium tv for pc" last night. I am wondering why for same channels like CNN International and ESPN and many others... I am getting the following message "Windows Media Player cannot find the specified file. Be sure the path is typed correctly. If it is, the file does not exist at the specified location, or the computer where the file is stored is offline." Those channels are in the list but as in the error "does not exist at the specified location" ... So I am confuse and how to solve this problem? EDITOR'S NOTE: Sounds like you bought into the very scam that I've been warning people about here. |

There is tons of places selling software that allows you to watch more than 2000++ channels although i doubt many will watch all of them lol free: http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/United-States.html EDITOR'S NOTE: Yup, just a list of links to websites with streaming video. There are plenty of these around. |

You listed freetvonline.com as a place to watch free tv. There is a pop up for Zango. Is this ok to download. Any spam, spyware, or other pop ups associated with this. EDITOR'S NOTE: Not that I know of. I didn't get a popup when I tried just now... |

To Editor Bob, You really did not give much of an answer to this question. I'm sure you believe that we all just want to rip off HBO repeats. However there are many reasons why people want to know about this. I for one want to watch Japaneses TV either from from sat. from Japan or maybe KIKU.TV out of Hawaii. If software and satelite will get their then why don't you just say so. It used to be if paid for a satelite dish, directional motor and a tuner you could watch what is broadcast. In many places in the world you still can. Here in the states as cable companies have double charged everyone they have also decided to scramble many signals that the satelite dish that fwas paid for used to get. So why is Bob siding with Cable companies? I also agree, Shame on "Tom" for "his" ad on this forum. EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't know why you think I'm siding with the cable companies. Others have accused me of being on the payroll of the sateliite operators! The bottom line is this: THERE IS NO SOFTWARE THAT WILL PULL SATELLITE SIGNALS OUT OF THE AIR AND PUT THEM ON YOUR PC. But there are plenty of websites that list television broadcasts that are freely available online as streaming video. Use Google to find the one you want. |

Do not purchase PCShowBuzz from inKline. It is a scam. Mostly old christian T.V shows from developing countries, or cruddy tv shows you wouldn't watch if they were free. Ignore the 30 days money back guarantee, it's a bigger hoax than the company, your emails NEVER get answered. |

I had tried some other sites, but Satellite-(scam}.com was able to at least delivered what they were offering. I was able to access all the pop stations and though there were some connection issues, overall it was what I was expecting. I wouldn't recommend this to someone thinking they'll get HD quality broadcasts, but for the user who just wants to quickly catch that soccer game while at work (for example ManU vs. Chelsea finals at 11 AM on a Tuesday) it's ideal. EDITOR'S NOTE: Just to clarify, the software simply points your web browser to the site that has the video feed you want, right? And if you knew the website address (or could find it with Google) you wouldn't need the software. Is that correct? And further, the domain name you gave (which I obfuscated) was registered yesterday. Correct? And it's the SAME EXACT scamware that I've been warning people about. Correct? |

There actually is software that lets you pull in satellite signals and watch them, but obviously you have to have the hardware connected to your PC as well. A cheap DVB card, a dish, and some software like mytheatre or RitzDVB is all that is needed. There plenty of FTA sats up there that you can watch completely free of charge. Check out dvbn.happysat.org for more info. EDITOR'S NOTE: I'm sure there are ways to hack into the Satellite signals, if you have a dish and the computer hardware & software to interface with it. But I'm also sure that it's illegal to pull in anything that would otherwise require a paid subscription. Seems no different than people who steal cable TV signals by using illegal descramblers or running their own cable to the utility pole. |
