I ordered the Digital TV direct CD and the movies hosted by zshare,novamov.com,divxden.com and wisevid.com and downloaded thru eMule are all malicious web links and the file eMuleSetUp[1].exe are sent to quarantine by Ad Watch. The parent company is listed as Pinball Corporation(v)(9590144).

Knowingly infecting other's websites with malicious files is a violation of the FDC and extremely poor business pracrices. This same problem affects four hosting sites and each will be given a chance to clean up their act before I notify advertisers and the FDC.

Respectfully,
Lawrence A Dickerson

Google "internet TV scams", over 1.5B searches shows up. Ask the I-net TV help lines a technical question, get a auto scripted response. Ask for your money back you get auto silence. I asked the people selling the new Google TV package, "why would Google want to associated with such a fraudulent internet culture", I received the same auto silence. The amount of money Bernie Madeoff scammed is peanuts compared to what the internet industry is stealing everyday. Something is very wrong here, I guess I should buy some insurance to protect my self against this very thing! Wrong.

THANK YOU!!

The ads had the vibe of a scam but searching for reviews off and on for the past couple of weeks have turned up nothing (except, of course, more ads). I almost gave in this morning, almost took the chance to see if it were worthwhile. Luckily I ran across this article. Saved me $50 and much frustration.

You are absolutely right about the programs that offer TV via PC for a fixed rate up front. I just tried "No Dish Network", and it is a joke. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and hope this story has a happy ending. I should have checked (found) your site before.

When speaking of free satellite TV, there are two different situations this is used to describe. One is when pirates are stealing satellite signal. Two is when DirecTV and Dish Network advertise free satellite TV.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Bruno, it's not the satellite companies advertising this "free satellite on PC" software garbage...

You can watch tons of channels from all around the world for not a single penny on tvpc.com. It actually works. It includes channels such as CBS, Fox and MTV.

I did get rooked into this free satillite TV program and have sent them an email requesting a refund or I will go through my pay pal resolution center to take care of it. It makes me sick to see people take advatage of those that believe ads deliver exactly what they say they deliver for a fair price. My computer started acting up after I downloaded the site and programs connected to it so I will get a refund one way or the other!

I'v spent the last two days searching the internet for any legitamate reveiws regarding PC satellite tv. With each click I'm directed to yet another bogus reveiw or artical. most of them will reccomend their "top 3 picks" for PC TV software, with a link to each one.
When you click on these links, you will find that each site looks different, however they all have a fairly similar set up. If you click on "Affiliates", which appears at the bottom of each of these pages, you are re-directed to a company by the name of Clickbank. As far as i can tell, Clickbank seems to be associated with alot of products and services that I would consider to be scams and gimmicks. They not only try to sell consumers these products and services, but also try to lure them into becoming distributors and promise large commissions.
I had hopes that there may be one or two companies out there that actually delivered, but I'm ending my search here. I guess it's back to cable tv for me. I would advise those who have been duped by these scams to contact their State Attorney General's office to generate awareness and legal action. Thanks Bob!!
