Seriously? Data gathering entities always say that they are secure, but are repeatedly proven to be wrong. Why should we think that our phone company could be any better? |

"The question posed in this article’s headline is, who is going to trust their carrier to safeguard their online identity? Who is going to put all of their personal data eggs into that leaky, broken basket? Not I".........THANK YOU!!!!!!!! |

With all the hacking occuring in the past few years and no one being held responsible for the damage done to the consumer, we're supposed to trust something like this? Even after a couple of the phone carrieres have been hacked too??? All of these companies were supposed to be making us more secure, not less...time to get the FCC involved in this hair-brained scheme. |

Sounds fine if "breaches" could be eliminated. Of coarse fees would increase for new services. Clowns to the left of me and clowns to the right of me. 🤡🤡 Best to read this newsletter. |

The people who come up with these ideas must think that people are very naive and trusting. I would soundly berate any member of my family who decided to use a smart lock on their residences, for example. The first line of security is at the individual level. |

I know who I am. I don't need my carrier to be my identity. On the other hand, I never understood the reason that I needed a special name and a password to pay my utility bill online. If someone wants to pretend that they are me and pay my bill, YIPPEEE!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is that the more they manage, the more they damage. The price of liberty and the price of convenience are both very high. |

And what happens to your ability to log in if you're behind on your phone bill, or switch to another carrier, or - heaven forfend! - use a VOIP? No way, José! I'll list all my passwords on post-its stuck to my screen before I'd trust my phone carrier. (And I actually like mine!) |

To Mr. Brach. Amen brother. I can't imagine how much more complicated it will have to get to have privacy in one's life. It's all about greed, money. and power, not necessarily in that order. Google, Twitter etc. anyone? |

This is insane from the encryption point of view. The purpose of having a complicated and long set of encryption keys is to make it difficult to un-encrypt. Therefore, one uses a long and complicated RANDOM number. This 'nonce' based on ones information is not RANDOM!!! This concept is flawed in its inception. |
