This looks good but I'm always worried that it will screw up my PC

Hi Bob, I agree that PrivaZer is a really good cleaner. I use it on a daily basis before I run my daily backup. I have never experienced any problems and thoroughly recommend it. like yourself I have tried other cleaners but nothing compares to PrivaZer.

Bob, I'm about 6 weeks away from retirement, when I'll have to give back my company-owned PC. Would Privatizer work to "sanitize" the machine so that it will still work, but all of my personal information and passwords are removed? Thanks!

EDITOR'S NOTE: I would start with Privazer and run it max privacy settings. Then see: https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/blog/2018/12/how-to-delete-your-saved-passwords-on-every-browser/

Used it once and it made a mess of my laptop and had to do a lot of file restores from backups.

Does it only run under Windose, or are there versions (or equivalents) available for Linux?

Obviously, there is no registry to clean up!

I used this program once too. It removed everything in my task manager "Start-up" list. You are the only one of my geek newsletters that endorses that program. When others endorse it I might give it a try again.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Here are 59 other endorsements: https://privazer.com/en/review.php

Seems a desirable piece of software. Disappointed there is no Mac version.

I MAY try PrivaZer again. I've been using CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare (and others) with little or no problems that I've noticed. How good a job they do, compared to PrivaZer, I simply don't know. I MUST add, though, that I used PrivaZer on two older desktops LONG ago, in computer terms. (10 years? A bit more?) PrivaZer may well run differently now, or it may work better on newer computers, but on my two, immediately after running PrivaZer, one or the other computer (or both) could no longer find the DVD drive, could not connect to the Internet adapter, recognized some USB ports but not others, and so on. Therefore, I'm extremely leery about trying it again.

I used it for awhile after you recommended it some time ago. After every go with it I had to delete and re download Photoshop 7 so I deleted it and have not had any problems since. I use PCMatic and it does a great job but not as large as PrivaZer.

Hi Bob, I've been using PrivaZer for more years than I can remember. I've never had a problem with it. I use it on 2 PC's with no problems.

Bob, I love your newsletters, and I love Privazer. I have used it on several machines, both Win7 and Win10. I have run it then immediately run other "cleaners" such as Wise Care 365, Glary, Advanced System Care, etc. The others find little, if any, left overs to clean. I tried running some of the others first and Privazer still found a lot of leftovers.
That sold me on it.

I stumbled on this about 2 years ago. Been using it almost daily and not a single problem. Keeps my desktop pristine. Have passed it to many friends as well.PS also passed on your site.

I've used PrivaZer for years and the only problem I encounter each time I use it is that it deletes all my saved notes in NotePad++. Aggravating, but fortunately NotePad++ backs them up in a backup folder which I can access to restore the notes.

I have used other cleaners in the past and paid good money for them. Not complaining, they worked as advertised. On SS with limited dollars, I tried PrivaZer and found it worked very well. I did not renew the other cleaners and have been very satisfied. I do recommend donating to keep this growing and updated. The amount is totally optional and well worth it.

It's not Microsoft verified. That makes me suspicious. I have been burned before. The fact that you endorse it helps but I'm still nervous about it.

I've used PrivaZer for a very long time on a desktop and two laptops with no issues at all.

For years, I relied on System Mechanic to fix things and it still works just fine but PrivaZer, run after SM, always finds several other things that need to be deleted.

I donated too, because it is worth a lot and is constantly updated.

Ive had a problem with privazer that I wrote the creators a while back but they havent fixed it. When i run quick clean it doesnt remove the cookies. Ive checked it after it has run for months now and everytime it doesnt do it. If i run it a 2nd time it finally does remove the cookies. VERY ANNOYING Otherwise i think it is a great program.
I run Advanced system care, Privazer Quick Clean, Regclean(old windows registry cleaner program), sfc /scanboot(set up to run automatically without a disk) and Puran defrag at boot. Keeps my machine purring along and never bogged down.

Does PCMatic allow the program? And if so, why do they not incorporate it into their programs?
