I created a Myspace account about 2 yrs ago at the time I was using another username. I had to change my screen name for aol. For some reason I had to change my password to Myspace and forget my password, is there any way I could retrieve my password from Myspace so I wouldn't have to creat another account?

i cant get into my old myspace account but the thing is thats not a real aol email account i just made up that one when i had signed up for myspace so basically that email was just made for my myspace account since i went to i forgot my password i cant fix my issue because its not a real email account it i made that just for my myspace page now i have no account to that email to see what my password maybe and i forgot what my password is can you please help me find a way to get my old myspace password back so i can sign back on?

i made a myspace behind my moms back 2 years ago there for i didnt have a pic of me as the defult picture ..it is a picture of my cousin dean at football..i tryed asking myspace if i could have the password..i told them the email and the info about the account from what i rememberd. they said unless i have a pic i cant get it...is there anything i can do?

get this! ive changed my e-mail 4 times now and they keep getting deleted and never have i done something wrong. now this is getting old!

Hey, I've just read and reread your article. I was wondering if there's some other way to retrieve my password. Do you know if any other ways? I am asking because I've been trying to retrieve my password for a year now. My account was hacked into and the hacker changed my password so I cannot access my own profile. I've sent well over 100 requests for password retrieval and even tried saluting 2 or 3 times. Each time I try the email never shows up despite my using my sign up email (I only have one email address and know my email password by heart) and they keep saying the salute isn't clear enough despite it being perfectly clear (I have trouble seeing and even I can see the picture, names, addresses and numbers crystal clear). I'm genuinely frustrated! I don't mind switching to facebook and abandoning the myspace account but it has a lot of old unique photos that mean a lot to me, I just want to retrieve my photos. Can you be of any assistance or am I beating a dead horse?

So i'm really hoping that i receive my password and my e-mail address in my mail box. I don't know if someone i don't know at all hacked my page or if someone i do know hacked my page but i'm really pissed off and praying to get some info.

i have my password saved on to my computer but don't remeber what is actually typed in so i can still get on but only on my computer... i wonder if the fact that i can still log on with my computer helps the situation much but i really don't know so i send salutes to my cooresponding e-mail adress on msn but never recieve anything in the inbox. i need some advise with this situation!!!

To "Pitraptor" - one last thing you can try to get your photos is to ask one of your friends who was on your friends list to save the photos for you onto a USB or something. When you're at their house you could even do it yourself.

And am I the only one the "salute" help page on MySpace isn't displaying for? Tried it with IE7 and Firefox and no content comes up. Tried to message Tom, he's away v__v Great site Bob.

ok so i forgot my myspace password so i clicked on the forgot password link it said to enter my email address i opened the account with so i did that . it sent the password to my yahoo email but when i went to log into it,it said my password was wrong so i did the forgot password thing there and it asked for my dob alt email and zipcode . once i got thru that step it asked me a question whats my fav past time . well i have no idea what i put there ! that yahoo account is so old i have tried everything imaginable ! but i cant figure out what it is . is there anyway to bypass the question on yahoo?

This is what they sent me .. here is from myspace mouth of what to do if you are like me.. and lock yourself out of your myspace.

1. A salute is a current photo of you holding a handwritten sign with your friend id. Your MySpace Friend ID is the last set of numbers in your URL in the address bar of your internet browser. You can find your Friend ID by using Search to look for your profile. (You do not have to log in to your profile to use this feature.)

2. Reply to this email leaving the subject intact and attach your salute to it. Or upload your salute to a web site and send us a link to the photo.

I cannot access my myspace account because i do not have the password. And i cant have the password mailed to me because the email is fake. (ive tried making an email account with the fake one but it is already being used).

so here's my problem, I'm getting emails from myspace for my account but I lost my password to my myspace. Everytime I try to have them send me my password through the forgotten password thing, nothing is sent. I've tried to do the whole salute thing. What do i do?
