Forgot Myspace Password - Comments Page 7

i forgot my password,and have followed the instructions above. The system tell me my password has been sent to my e-mail account and when I check my e-mail it's not there. It's not my e-mail account, because I have been able to recieve e-mails from everyone except myspace. For the past 1 week I have been resubmitting my e-mail info to Myspace, and the system has stated that my password has been sent to my account. However that has not been the case. Please help. Thank you

EDITOR'S NOTE: It's possible that you entered your email address wrong when you created the Myspace profile. If so, you're out of luck. Or maybe your emails from Myspace are getting filtered into a spam folder. Or maybe Myspace is just falling down under the load. Sorry, but there doesn't seem to be an appeal process.

Yeah, myspace sucks. I can't get into my account, I've tried everything, including the salute, nothing works. Why doesn't myspace care about their users?

I forgot my myspace password, and I can't get into my yahoo account either. I understand the whole "salute" thing, but my digital camara was stolen, and I don't know anyone who has one. Any sugesstions?

ok i read everything! and i made a Geocities thing and uploaded a picture with everything that needs to be on it.

but i dont get the rest. like when when you get to this part

what do i type in message? and it always says

"provide the web address (URL) of the Salute photo, and the web address of the Myspace profile you cannot access". i dont see a web adress on the site where i uploaded my picture on "geocities"

EDITOR'S NOTE: After you upload to Geocities, click Manage, then File Manager, then the VIEW link for the photo. The web address will be displayed in the location bar of the browser.

hello! I'm V-TOR i forgot my myspace password. and i tried to send it to my email address and i forgot that password to so...how do i send the myspace salute? i read the article but i didnt get it! =[

EDITOR'S NOTE: You may have to send multiple requests. it could take days or weeks. But YES, some people have reported that it works.

I recently had to do this (salute) and IT WORKED. It took a bit - but duh - myspace is huge. I've also noticed a lot of the people posting comments are complete morons. Read the article and stop asking the man how to get your password!

Yes, the SALUTE does work. I had to wait over a week, but it did work. Yay!

my computer doesn't let me upload pictures, my friend and i share an account, and we upload the pictures on her computer. The account is under her e-mail but she's out of town (for a year) and i can't reach her on her phone to get the password. idk how u can help me w/ this...

Ok, I just sent in my salute yesterday (Oct.22 2007). I will keep you guys posted on how long it takes. If it works at all. Thanks

I have tried to recover y password for my "myspace" page and I input my email address. Myspace sends me the password but I cannot retrieve it because my us.army.mil account is blocking myspace. What do I do now? Ireally don't want to start a new myspace page over because I am receiving my information for my class reunion on that one.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I think you're stuck. Even the Salute process requires a working email address.

The email works but it is blocking the message that myspace is sending.

Ok. It is now Nov 1., and time for an update for the password retrieval. I have sent a request exactly as listed above everyday!. Today, I got a reply requesting that I send that information over to them again. Go figure. So not here yet but at least some progress.

Well folks after some effort and following exactly what was in the instructions above...my password was returned to me tonight 11/02/2007, so almost 2 weeks but it works. thanks

This works!!! Although it took more than a week, myspace has slowly been replying to my emails. I am assuming that my clearly written email, salute photo, and clear subject line in the email had alot to do with their being helpful.

They've sent a couple emails back to me and upon this latest reply, they will change my email and password. Thanks!

EDITOR'S NOTE: Yahoo is NOTORIOUS for sending good/wanted emails to the junk/spam folder. I'd check there...

ive changed my account email and password on myspace but ive forgot my password and before i forgot it, ive accidently deleted my yahoo account(staycute_ameq@yahoo.com)

how can i request a new password to send to my other yahoo account?
