Forgot Myspace Password
"Help, I forgot the password for my Myspace account! Now I can't login and people think I'm dissing them because I can't reply to their comments. How do I get the password, or have it reset so I can login?"

Lost Your Myspace Password?
If you have lost or forgotten the password to your Myspace account, you can send a password retrieval request to Myspace. Just enter the email address associated with the account, and Myspace will send your password to that address.
But what if you forgot the email address too?
Salute This!
If you don't have the account password or access to the email address associated with the account, there IS another way to prove that you are the rightful owner of the account. A salute is a photo of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word "MySpace.com" and your FriendID on it. You can find your Friend ID number after "friendID=" in the web address when viewing your profile.After taking the salute photo, you will need to upload that photo to the Web. You cannot post your salute in a public place, so if you don't have your own website, I recommend that you open a free account at Geocities and upload it there.
Next, contact Myspace via this form, provide the web address (URL) of the Salute photo, and the web address of the Myspace profile you cannot access. Explain the situation, cross your fingers and howl at the full moon. With a bit of luck your Myspace password will be sent to your email inbox.
If you read the comments below, you'll see that this process DOES WORK for some people. If you don't get a reply after several days, send your salute again... and keep trying!

i forgot my myspace password right, but then i did all the things and then i forgot that i had a diffrent email address to my profile the ole time and i dont think that works anymore and iv tryed everything, this is really serouise though because i have things i have to read on this site which are my life, i dont know what to do please i would love it if you could help iv tryed everything please help me. EDITOR'S NOTE: Sorry, Amy... I don't have a secret tunnel into Myspace HQ, or a direct line to Tom. My best advice is to follow the instructions I gave for the Salute process. |

I am having the worse luck, I recently changed my password to my myspace account, and I forgot it...SO I had it sent to my e-mail.. The only problem is that my e-mail provider is not letting me accept any e-mails that aren't spam or junk... How am I supposed to log into my myspace again?!?! |

i forgot my password after i changed it. and my email adress is at myspace.com so it wont send the email to tell me what the password is. idk how it is at myspace.com . but i need helppppp! pleaseee. |

I sent arequest for my password to be sent to my email. its reginald.XXXXX@yahoo.com and it never sent it. please email it to me. i check my yahoo everyday and it hasnt came yet. thanks EDITOR'S NOTE: Most likely it was filtered as junk mail. Here's why: Spam filters look for patterns, such as lots of similar looking messages coming from one address. Thousands of Facebook users every day, with Yahoo mail addresses, asking for password retrievals, becomes what looks like a spam attack to the Yahoo mail servers. So they are dropped into spam/junk folder (if you're lucky) or just silently discarded (which seems to happen more often). |

heyy i change my myspace password often just to be on the safe side. i have tried to log into my myspace after i changed it and it keeps bringing me back to the home page. is there any way possible that you can help me get my password so that i wont't have to make another myspace page and loose everything i had? plzzzzz help me!!!! |

O.K so i havent been on my myspace for like a week and someone hacked into it and changed the password and is starting to change stuff on it and now i cant get in. my e mail to my myspace isnt the same e mail it was 2 years ago. my email used to be spunkymunky@tds.net the email address got deleated because i didnt go on it enough. so i am thinking that the person who has my old address is stealing my password. could someone help!?!?!?! |

Ok I've forgot my password or have tried enough times that it wont let me in. I do not have access to the email address that I did when I made the account. I think I might have remembered it but it wont let me log on bc it says I have put the wrong pw in too many times wait 15 mins and then try again but I wait 15 mins and its the same thing. I dont know what my friendID number is and how to even get it. And I cant even ask Tom about it. Can you help please? |
