i cannot log into myspace. it says to many failed login attempts but i know i am using the correct screen name and password what can i do?? please help. i have been trying for 2 weeks and customer service never responds im lost and have important messages on there. someone please help me!!!!!!!

EDITOR'S NOTE: There's probably very little you can do now, if they've locked you out, except try the Salute process. In the future, watch to make sure the CAPSLOCK is not on. That can trip you up when passwords are upper/lower case sensitive.

I did the same stupid thing with my myspace (fake email, forgot password...) and followed your instructions just now. I really hope they work, but even if they don't thanks a lot. These people that are begging you to help them are really funny. I love your replies. Thanks for helping us.

Hello,my problem is different.Myspace told me that my account has been phished and sent me an unblock email.The problem is that i cant reach my email cause it's cancelled but i have my myspace passsword. The real problem is my email and not my password.How to change email if i cant go on my edit profile.

Hi there, my problem is that i made a myspace music page and uploaded my music and stuff only, i cant login. I requested my password twice to check i typed it in correctly but still cant login! Is it because i have a normal myspace with the same password or something? How can i change my password? pls help!

For my part I was a phishing victim so I was quite obliged to change my password. But then I get the message 'your account has been phished and you must change your password'on my myspace homepage . Should I change it once again (in case it was phished once again - and how do I know if it was)?? And why can't I edit my profile?(which is a good fact cause may be the phisher won't be able to do so too) but it's too bad I can't,despite the fact that I followed all the instructions they told me to. Please help me.

my account was phished and blocked, and i heard that tom sent a bulletin explaining what to do in order to unblock it. i cant find that. can anyone tell me what tom said to do? thankx

Ummmmm I sent a salue in ast month and still have not gotten a response. You would think a company like myspace ( worth billions of dollars) would be able to respond to things like this faster. Its okay though I made a new profile

One day I tried to log into my account and it said "no such email". All of a sudden my email has been erased from their database. So I go through the whole process of doing the salute, etc. Its been 4 months and nothing. I have emailed them probably about 10 times. Still nothing. I'm fed up. I was going to open a new account after they fix my problem, but not now. They can go to hell. Actually, I say "they", but really, is there anyone there? I doubt it.

okay so i cant even use photobucket to do that salute thng...or i'll take a pic with my phone and send to another email.....and then get the url from there...could that work too. i already tried that geocities thingy and it wouldnt let me access it....

EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't think an email link will work, unless your email is completely unsecured. What's the prolem with Geocities?

I followed your instructions and sent the salute and everything but it has been 11 days and myspace still hasn't sent me my password..is it supposed to take this long?

I know my password and email, yet MySpace will still not let me log in at other houses than my own. I get a message saying "Failed Login Attempt", then eventually they require a verification code, then they lock the email for 15 minutes. Any light on this?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Does this happen at ALL locations except your home? Sounds fishy to me. Could you be falling into a phishing (fake login page) trap?
