MY EX GIRLFRIEND CHANGED MY MYSPACE PASSWORD AND SHES NOT GIVING IT TO ME. THE PAGE IS REALY IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE A MUSIC PAGE AND IT TOOK ME A LOT OF EFFORT AND TIME TO GET ALL THE FREINDS/VIEWS/PLAYS THAT I HAVE. BUT MY LOGIN EMAIL ADDRESS IS FAKE. HOW CAN I GET MY PASSWORD BACK?

ok i forgot my password an dont have the password to the old email. i can give you my social security number driver license number anything -- it took me too long to make my myspace i just dont want to do it again.

I forgot my password and tried to use the "password retrieval tool," but the tool is not sending any messages to my e-mail account. I changed my e-mail account's filters to make sure that the message would get through and tried the tool again, but that hasn't worked either. I checked to make sure my account still existed, and my profile page still exists. I checked the myspace database to make sure that my account's e-mail hadn't been changed, and it hasn't been. So I e-mailed customer service, included a salute and asked that they simply do what the password retrieval tool is not doing. We'll see if it works.

Hey, I tried the salute thing, and it's been about a week. I've sent around 40 of them (no exaggeration). How long would you say the average response takes?

I read this article, then checked some of the comments. Your method of saluting seems to work. I lost my password today not only to my MySpace, but to the email account that the MySpace was registered on. I sent MySpace a different address so they would e-mail me on that one instead. Hopefully this works, I'm rooting for it & thanks for the help!

I definately lost my password to myspace and my email is fake. I did what the site said and sent a salute. It really worked..I got my password the same day I sent it. So do it!!!!!! Thanx so much.

i am having the same problem. i forgot my password so i request it through my yahoo account and it say your password has been sent. but the e-mail never gets sent and i know that its the same exact e-mail address. what else could be the problem?

I sent my Salute pic and explained my situation to them. I feel soo dumb but hopefully, this would work!!

Alas the same situation as well. I know which email address I've used and Myspace does say 'we have sent your password to your email address' but it's never arrived (yet) either in the main inbox or the spam mail box. I'm not sure I really want to send Myspace my picture but thank you for the alternative suggestion!

did this work for anyone? i sent heaps of emails to myspace and they actually wrote back telling me to do this. so i did it today and figure it might take them a while to reply. i am sooo desperate for my password its driving me nutzo!! the problem with me was that i forgot my password, but when i typed it into the password retreiever, i never got the freaking email.

I recently changed my password and, like the rest, forgot it. the email address i used was my friend's from jr. high and unfortulatly i no longer talk to her. well i sent the message to myspace and will they send it to the email i provided in the message or will they send it to my phony address?
