Dang it Bob,
I already upset my Congressman with this report B4 I finished reading it all the way. I believe his last comment was to the effect that the USA was pulling out of the UN because of this............

Yeah, Bob. Thanks. Oh yeah! I forgot. I'm also enclosing a blank check for you to Write Your Own--in appreciation of all you've done for us. (Don't worry about cashing it. I use the First National Bank of Atlantis. They'll take it, no ID required. Of course, you've got to go to the bottom of the ocean to get there!)

We *do* appreciate you anyway. (Uh...Google _tried_ to zap 'us' prior to you. Ditto YouTube, etc.) Maybe next year??

Although an April Fools Day joke, I hope this doesn't give the money hungry and greedy an idea to make just a little bit more money on top of their already multi-billion dollar bank accounts. With TPP nothing would surprise me.

Twenty years ago, on April 1st, my son got a call that his best friend was killed in an auto accident. He thought it was an April Fool's joke but it wasn't. We have never done April Fool's jokes since, so when I read this it didn't occur to me that today was the 1st of April. You scared the bejesus out of me. Clever, yes! Funny, not so much.

Excellent!! You had me completely fooled because I had read that attempts are underway to attempt such taxation. Very good April Fools Day joke.
And for those complainers--lighten up, guys, and have a little fun!!

I was hooked and outraged until the G.O.T.C.H.A.
Good one.

Good one. You had me going for a while.
I propose taxes on stupidity (not IQ), rudeness in any form, failure of poluticians to keep promises/lying/accepting bribes(%200 of bribe), forwarding 'cute' pictures on email, and bunches of others. If you're interested in the full list, make your own.

Despite the fact that it is an April Fools joke, the basic idea isn't half bad. At least it makes more sense than some taxing ideas I have heard lately. Have you heard that several states are trying to tax you by the miles you drive? It's NOT and April 1 joke.

Well done Bob:-)
You got me here in Tasmania! Yesterday I heard (on the TV so it must be true) that April Fool's day jokes are down this year. The best was several years ago when it was reported that the Sydney Opera House was sinking into the harbour.

Well, Bob, you got me plenty good! I had all but forgotten what is clearly _not_ the "lost art" of April Fool's Day jokes. Having admitted to falling for your well-crafted trick, I must say it was effective on me primarily because your e-newsletter and your advice (much of which I have followed) are trusted and important to me. (I hope you feel at least a twinge of guilt.)I shall put a note on my electronic calendar (one I think you recommended) for next year: Beware of Bob! JJA

Caution, In Illinois - this might just become a new law! AND, That's no April Fools joke.

Heck I am waiting for the breath tax police -
1 penny for each breath in.
For the moment, breathing out will not be taxed.
